really cute and fun story

reads like a rom com movie and has some family drama with insightful thoughts. this would make a good beach read

I really enjoyed this read. The characters were wonderful. I enjoyed the mixture of love family drama and hilarity

Such a great new twist on a love story

I loved this book. it is written do well and the different approach to the story is fun and keeps you listening. The narration is done superbly

This started out a little on the angsty side. I saw 👀 a good story in the making, and I’m happy i stayed on it. I wasn’t disappointed.

This was so cute, a rom com, and a super easy listen! I really enjoyed it!

Kind of Lost Me

I was really enjoying this book until I think I got bored with how slow this is. Given the tension and the banter that could have been enough, but I think it dragged on so much after they got stranded that I kept zoning out. The book should have picked up the moment during the waterfall scene and then it stopped. The tension in that scene would have been perfect... not that the kiss wasn't good, but there's a waterfall and then nothing else happened? There still would have been a will there/won't there but the stakes would have been raised.

Good news is the spicy scenes are actually really good I'll give it that much credit. If you like slowburn buring, journal passages, and sunshine/grumpy ship, this book is for you.

steamy scenes and some humor

seemed added drama being a divorcee was unneeded and some choices were cringe to me. but can see how the story line would be good to others, everyone has their own opinion, view points, and all that

Good read…

But I’ve realized that I don’t like this female narrator. I listened to one other book with her and it’s the same with a borderline depressing tone. The story was a little heavy, but chilled out in the end.

Not the Best

This story had the potential to be much better than it was. I didn't feel any real chemistry between Daisy and Tai at all. Even the lust was poorly written. I struggled to get through this book and was glad when it was over.
