I have exactly 5 hours and 10 minutes to get from Boston to New York City or the professional opportunity of a lifetime disappears. My only travel option? The second to last seat on a discount bus. Across from the bathroom. Wearing last night’s clothes (don’t ask). All worth it if I can make it in time.
My nerves almost get the best of me, but then there he is, sitting down in the seat next to me. Tall. Friendly smile. Bright indigo streak in his brown hair. The perfect distraction. Turns out he’s on his way to reconnect with an old flame. The one who got away. We can both make it on time - just barely - if the traffic keeps flowing.
Playing road-trip games, avoiding calls from his mother, and effortless conversation keeps us from clockwatching...until the bus breaks down. And my seatmate turns into my copilot as we wrangle a ride in a car three decades old. And hit all the traffic. And oh, Lord, the detours. And somehow I end up careening cross-town on the handlebars of a Citi Bike carrying a box of kittens. (Yeah, don’t ask.)

Another fun book by Cara Bastone
This was a super fun book--short and sweet! The narration was fantastic--they sounded like they were having a conversation rather than reading lines. I like these types of rom-coms that are clean and fun. More please!

I actually laughed out loud!
I have never written a review on here before, but wanted to on this one because this book was wonderful. I felt like I was watching a movie, the narrators/actors did a great job, and the background noises just added to it, they didn't overpower or distract. They story was great also, I laughed out load several times, almost cried, and literally punched the air when she got on the elevator. Overall, would 10 out of 10 recommend.

Absolutely Darling
This narrations was so fun to listen to. I listened while I was painting and working out.
I felt like I was along for the ride and it wasn’t just a bus ride. My chores flew by.

I totally recommend this series!
excellent narration. This series by C. Bastone is designed to be listened to. If you enjoy dialogue, byplay, and in situ plot reveals, this is pretty much ideal.

I never write these but I have to for this one!
The entire Love Lines series by Cara is hands down the best thing I've listened to on Audible. These are so entertaining, relatable, and give you all the feels. I couldn't keep myself from laughing out loud and even getting watery eyes while listening. These audiobooks are incredibly engaging you won't be able to stop listening once you start. You won't even want to multi-task you'll be so engrossed. Listen now and enjoy!

Very funny and interesting!!!
This story (for me) was adventure filled and both leads were engaging! Two people I'd love to know! The Lord of the Rings reference had me on the floor!!
I'd recomend this story to anyone who wants a audible shift from the usually 2D storyline.
A refreshing digestible Rom-Com that's found a home in my heart, just like the kittens ...
