A masterpiecefrom start to finish

Sanderson has done it again. I loved every aspect of this book. From the relationship between the main characters to the plot twists and the Cosmere connections. I don't know why I don't hear more people talking about this secret project. 100% worth the read.

Slow start that ends amazingly.

It took me a while to get into this book. One of the main characters has some hang ups that I felt became a bit tiresome. In the end I had to give it 5 stars though. Sanderson just knows how to craft an extremely satisfying ending. The main characters really grow throughout the books. I wish they were able to have a pdf or something with the artwork because it is all amazing. If you are reading this after just look it up online and he has it all posted up. Might actually get the hardback because it is just so beautiful.

Amazing payoff

The book starts off quite slow and doesn't really hook the reader. I feel like there isn't any rush to solve the characters' problems, which seem minor to begin with. As the story progresses we do gain a sense of urgency, romance, and purpose. And like all Sanderson novels, the climax and conclusion leave you tearing up and in love the novel.
A slow start, but very much worth reading.

unexpected delight

while this isn't normally the type of book I like to read, this did an excellent job at making me want more of these types of books

A magnificent performance of a majestic story

Brandon, Kate, and Michael can seemingly do no wrong. This is another installment in the Dragonsteel collection that is entertaining, hilarious, scary, romantic, philosophical, and enriching in all the best ways.

Favorite of the Secret Projects

I loved this book the best so far in the "Secret Project Series." I have been missing Pattern since the last Stormlight Archive book. When listening to Yumi and the Nightmare Painter, for some reason, I missed them even more. In case you read this, Pattern...you are still my favorite character of all time.

an seriously good book

I'm generally a fan of Brandon Sanderson but I think this is one of his best books to date.

love the narrative. amazing idea and I wasn't ready for the twist. Amazing romance story.

I want a sequel. I'm sad it ended so quickly. huge fan of all the Sanderson Consmere books, but this one is one of my all time favorites.

Illustration descriptions!!

I have loved following the cosmere and Brandon Sanderson ever since he finished The Wheel of Time series. I had more functional vision back then, but now as I’ve lost most of my usable vision, I rely on audiobooks to still enjoy “reading” and I know I’m missing part of the story without being able to see the artwork…….you all have no idea how excited I was when this story gave us the first illustration description!!!! Very much like audio description still allows me to enjoy movies with my kids, these illustration descriptions made me feel like I was being included and able to enjoy that aspect of the story telling!! Thank you so much for this and hopefully it becomes part of the new norm for us(blind readers) to enjoy in the future!!
