Fantastic New Story!

Cameron Milan and Steve Campbell are back together again with a new series and it's so good! I really enjoyed Towers of Heaven, and Collect the World is just as well done with interesting and relatable characters, and an exciting storyline with twists that make you want to keep listening!
Steve Campbell does a great job with the narration as always, I'm excited to see where the story goes with the next book.

Not perfect, but great all the same

CAUTION: Audible has included this and 2 other titles by Cameron Milan in a series called "A LitRPG Adventure" but the other books in said series are Book 2 from the "Desire" series and Book 3 from the "Towers of Heaven" series. These are not part of the same series so do not jump to purchase the next book.

Honestly, I started and stopped this story about 3 times before buckling down and giving it a real try. Steve Campbell, the narrator, has one of those voices that I enjoy but also puts me to sleep. Twice I started this book in the afternoon only to find myself asleep before the first chapter had ended. Finally, I muddled through the first 10 minutes and started down this adventure.

The story is okay but feels a bit rushed. I feel as though a lot happened and yet, at the same time, I feel that barely anything occurred. I don't know how to explain this feeling further but you'll understand after listening. The story borrows from other books but stays unique enough to be refreshing. Our MC is interesting and his abilities are truly different than what I've seen other stories use. My one complaint is that we don't see our MC utilize that ability much. When he does utilize it, it is truly fascinating! However, it's all too rare that we get those glimpses into the utility of it. All the same, the book is exciting and refreshing. I truly found myself enjoying our MC by the end of the series. I hope to see this story continued.

Good book

Nice book with an interesting concept of powering up. A lot happens in the span of one book and the stage is set for future books against the real enemy.

I enjoy listening to Steve Campbell, he brings the books to life, and the detail put into this book is fantastic. From the breathless reveal of a new skill, to the evident pain of failure.

Looking forward to the next book!

Awesome!

This was really good, it was somewhat lighthearted but could get dark real quick and i really liked the MC, he is pretty much a spoiled and privilege kid but he is likeable and he does matures as the story progresses. im so looking forward to the next one

Pretty good

It was a good listen, wish it was longer. Progress for MC is fluid. OP maybe next book but his growth was helped by OP monsters lol

Fun Series Starter!

I enjoyed listening to this one. The story was well-written, detailed, and very interesting. It was a bit slow at the beginning but it picked up pretty quickly. The characters were engaging and appealing. They made me snort-laugh a few times.

As always, Steve Campbell's narration was brilliant. He's so talented and his choices for all of the characters' voices were perfect!

Looking forward to listening to Book 2.
