Publisher's summary

Chaos Is Here

Hawke Lightseeker has little time to relax after his victory over a ruthless guild. A new threat is rising: an ancient Labyrinth has begun to disgorge Chaos-tainted monsters upon the countryside. He must join forces with old foes to confront those responsible: the Court of Thorns, Chaos-worshipers who seek nothing less than the destruction of the Realms and the overthrow of the Makers.

To survive, Hawke must master his new abilities, and learn how to use them. And he must do so without losing his humanity.

Just so GOOD

The MC no longer goes through all his stats every single time there’s a change, plus his girlfriend’s stats, every monster & etc., I was really happy with this book. I like knowing what the mc’s stats are atm. I also don’t need an update every chapter, so THANKS for letting that go!
The story also has been getting deeper and more involved, with the characters becoming more interesting. Very much looking forward to the next book.

Good addition to the series

Nice addition to the series. Good MC development and a good bridge for the next part of the series

A few issues, but overall fairly decent.

I've listened to the first five books twice now, and i have to say that it is pretty good. Leans a bit to much on common troupes and pop culture references at times, needs a dedicated proof reader to catch some of the character discrepancies such as their changing ages and overall descriptions, and possibly need to add some actual consequences to everything. However, all that aside, the action feels real and challenging, the overall plot seems well thought out and is quite interesting, many of the side characters are just as interesting as the main character himself. and for the first time that i can ever remember their is a harem that i actually like and can respect. All and all the book isn't ground breaking, but it is hardly a failure either. Just needs a but of professional sprucing up and it would easily be one of the top ten best izekai out there.

P.S. Lol i think the reason i like the harem so much is that you could easily make the argument that it is actually Tava's harem sense she is the one who actively encourages Hawke to pursue additional potential wives. Lol dude i think your wife is using you as bait!!!

pushed it to far this time

the mc in this story has always had a luck stat over 9k. but this book went to far with it. having a race change.. and adding in a dungeon core to the mix.

it's just to much.
