Welcome back to Daisy Creek!

Life in the old west is tough enough without worrying about things like true love or happiness.

Yet for four women, the challenge is only just beginning as they each take their first step down the aisle, on the way to becoming mail-order brides—but first, they should probably meet their husbands! A hard-of-hearing beauty, desperate to escape the shame of her failed wedding meets the eldest son of the Lakota chief, keen to carry on his father’s legacy. A widow determined to fight for those she loves meets a kind man working for the railway line, who is eager to help. A wealthy orphan yearning to be loved for who she is, and not what she has, meets a quiet and calm dairy farmer, whose only desire is to make a simple and peaceful living on his farm. And a woman caught between the world she belongs to and the one she was raised in meets the youngest son of the Lakota chief, who is embracing the new world emerging around him.

For these young brides and their husbands-to-be, the road ahead is filled with much uncertainty and peril. But as they each face their own obstacles and dangers, what awaits them at the end of their journey might just be worth all the struggle: A chance at true love.

Daisy Creek Brides: Books 13-16 is a charming collection of stories, each centered around the mail-order brides of Daisy Creek. Will any of the brides find their happy endings at last? Might it be waiting for them in Daisy Creek?

Nice, sweet story…

As with all these books, the stories are nice, clean and sweet. As long as you aren’t expecting any sort of historical accuracy, it’s fine. The narrator, however, needs improvement. I’ve left numerous reviews primarily about the pronunciation problems of Gina Dobbs. In this book, she’s finally able to say livery, but she’s me other words still give her trouble. My main irritation with this book was the use of Calvary instead of the correct word: cavalry. Every time she says Calvary, my twisted humor says oh no, the baptists are coming!

Entertaining and fun

I so enjoyed reading this series. I loved that one book flowed into the other with the happenings of Daisy Creek. The stories and situations were fun to listen to and entertaining and I found myself wondering who would be the next to marry. I enjoyed this series very much.

Final 4 of 16 Book Western ♡ Series

The last 4 books in the 16 book Daisy Creek Brides series, a clean, fun, Western romance series, set in Nebraska in the 1890's.  While at times historically inaccurate, the series is heart and soul empowering.  Earlier books in the series were all tied to the mail order bride trope, but not used as tightly in this final series quadrant.

I encourage the author to seek more public library app release.

13.  The Indian Warrior's Deaf Bride.  2021.
A young deaf white woman becomes involved with a Native American tribal leader is extremely similar to the Sally Dimitri story in another the Bear Creek series.  So, book lacks originality.

14.  A Railroad of Love. 2021.
Daisy Creek's Mayor finally gets his wish and a railroad finally starts the process of evaluating building a spur to Daisy Creek, bring a railroad man to hire a destitute widow as his secretary. A well researched and creative Western romance.

15.  The Homesteader's Secretive Bride. 2021.
An orphaned heiress tires of being the object of greed cones to Daisy Creek to start a new life while hiding her wealth, only to meet a young dairy man.

16.  The Indian's Mail Order Bride. 2022.
In the conclusion to the 16 book Daisy Creek Brides series, blond blue-eyed Faith, having been adopted by a Native American couple, considers wedding the brother of Daisy Creek's Sioux chief.
