Gran libro
Este sistema de 3 pasos fue realmente simple de entender y nos brindó pasos prácticos para ayudar a nuestro hijo con arrebatos radicales de ira que en el pasado nos había costado controlar. Sentimos que los dos primeros capítulos eran vitales para los tres pasos y cualquier padre debería conocer estos elementos a la hora de controlar el mal comportamiento. Sin duda recomendaría esto a padres que se encuentren en una situación similar.

Me encanta cómo este libro te enseña a tener una mejor relación con tu hijo. También cubre cómo gestionar sus emociones, algo que es crucial cuando se trata de niños. Tendrá una experiencia mucho mejor como padre si aplica lo que ha aprendido en este libro. Incluso existen conocimientos sobre el trato con niños de diferentes edades. Aprender a relajarse
Soy madre de 2 niños con TDAH y puedo decirles que el que yo aprenda a controlar mis emociones es clave para que ellos aprendan a controlar las suyas. Inmediatamente el capítulo 1 me habló porque siento que la autora me estaba hablando directamente a mí. Para nosotros, tratar de entender la raíz de por qué estamos enfadados es el primer paso porque, sinceramente, si no entendemos lo que nos hace enojar, ¿cómo lo arreglamos? Me gustó que la autora repasara los métodos anticuados y cómo los enfoques más modernos son más eficaces, porque intentar disciplinar a los niños hoy en día es muy diferente a cuando yo era pequeña. Yo no quería criar a mis hijos con la mentalidad del "porque lo digo yo". Quería que aprendieran a pensar por sí mismos y que fueran capaces de tomar decisiones por sí mismos si conocían las consecuencias de sus actos.
En mi caso, he aprendido a abrirme y a mantener más conversaciones con mis hijos en lugar de limitarme a hablarles. Les hago preguntas y les dejo que tomen decisiones, y he descubierto que ese enfoque funciona bastante bien, ya que se sienten más respetados y están dispuestos a abrirse y compartir conmigo cómo se sienten. La otra cosa que he aprendido es que también necesito aprender a disculparme por mi comportamiento cuando es inapropiado. Mostrarles el camino es mi objetivo y no quiero que piensen que sólo porque soy el padre, no significa que no deba disculparme por mi comportamiento.
Este libro es ideal para cualquier padre que quiera aprender a serenarse.
