Great Detective Mystery Story
I enjoyed the narrator and the characters, the narrator made them come to life. The book had lots of detail to tell the story and the mystery was great. So far I like this author.

Anni Taylor is a Great Mystery Writer
I’ve recently binged 3 audio books by Anni Taylor and I’m a new fan! The characters in this book are interesting and the protagonist is a likable middle-aged investigator who seems REAL. The kidnapper was never apparent and the suspects were numerous… I give this a 5 because it is very well written for this type of mystery.

Keep these stories coming. Unusual, entertaining, suspenseful and fascinating. Great psychological details and explanations. Like "Flowers in the Attic" without the sexual content.

The narrator makes this story
This is the third book I have listened to narrated by Caroline Lee. She is fantastic, and I’m to the point that I will listen to anything narrated by her. The story is good; a little anticlimactic when they got to motivation for the crime, but definitely not predictable.

Wonderful book
The story keeps your attention and the ending was surprising. Overall recommend.
One issue, narrator doesn’t understand American accents and used a southern drawl for Floridian characters. Made me cringe. Otherwise good

My favorite new author
I really love this author. I listened to one of her free reads and was hooked. Yes they are long but I love the twists, intertwined storylines and details. Yay for more and Anni Taylor! Narrator is great too.

A good mystery!
Story was full of twists and I did not see the end result coming! Also enjoyed the narration and how the ending had an explanation instead of just ending. Will be listening to the other books in the series!
