Story
Before the lights went out, Jack Warrant never considered himself a prepper. That was someone on the edge, a conspiracy theorist or a doomsday cultist who had a fatalistic view of the world. He was neither a theorist nor a cultist. He was an optimist. At least that was what he told himself when the darker thoughts creeped into his psyche as he stared at the ceiling in the middle of the night. Whenever he started down the rabbit hole, he always clawed his way back into the sunlight.

Mason Lot is in-house counsel for Poseidon, a major Wall Street firm that serves as a front company for the National Security State. His job pays well and gives him insight into the corrupt shadow government, but it can't help with his problems at home. Mason assumed that the hefty price tag for his daughter’s private school would buy him a pass from the insanity plaguing New York’s public school system. Story
By 2038, the apocalypse had been years in the making. The only question was—would it be caused by a financial collapse, a nuclear war, or a bio-weapon. No one thought the end of the United States would result from all three. Walt knew things were bad, but like most Americans, he felt the government would muddle through and keep its citizens safe. He was wrong. Too many politicians worked hard to line their pockets while not ensuring America would stay strong and survive. Walt and his loved ones have to face the apocalypse and the ramifications of life AFTER AMERICA no longer exists.

After more than 20 years in special operations, USMC Gunnery Sergeant Wolf Mathison wasn’t looking forward to retirement when—implanted with an experimental artificial intelligence—he deployed on his last mission with a platoon of Marine Raiders being sent to the Jovian moon Europa. The USS Jefferson was destroyed en route, though, and only Mathison and three other marines survived. Trapped in stasis, they were hurled into the outer reaches of the solar system, where they wouldn’t be found for hundreds of years.

The best series ever!
This is a must-read series! For many reasons, it is the best. I have read many survivalist books and this series is the best.

A good emp story.
Another great emp story from Mr. Tom Abraham's as well as another most excellent job of narrating by Mr. Kevin Pierce. I look forward to number five.

How real is it
Tom Abrahams I will be watching for your next book! I love all the characters in this series. It’s a story easy to understand and very interesting. I can’t wait for book 5. Everything is always better when Kevin Pierce is the narrator.

Good book
It was good but the flash backs I didn’t quit under stand why those were brought up. But I do like all the books so far.

Government Corruption for Private Financial Gain
Good storyline not great. My favorite narrator killed it as usual. Story was not so much about prepping as the title would believe you to think. Maybe used because of the popularity of the subject like a you tube clickbait title. Overall good storyline just not what I expected from the title. But hey I bought all four so must not have been too bad. Lol
