That's not Mark Rashid's view. In his words, "If we understand that horses can't separate the way they feel from the way they act, then we can start to see that unwanted behavior isn't bad behavior at all. More times than not, it's just the horse expressing the way he feels at that particular moment in time....

To grow produce of the highest nutritional quality the essential minerals lacking in our soil must be replaced, but this re-mineralization calls for far more attention to detail than the simple addition of composted manure or NPK fertilizers. The Intelligent Gardener demystifies the process, while simultaneously debunking much of the false and misleading information perpetuated by both the conventional and organic agricultural movements. In doing so, it conclusively establishes the link between healthy soil, healthy food, and healthy people.

Fantastic book!
I have always wanted to grow my own fruit and vegetable in my garden but unfortunately never could find enough time with young kids and work. Now that the kids are a little older and don't need me as much, I really want to get into gardening and not just because I want to be self-sufficient but also for health reasons.
This book is an amazing guide for beginners like me as it teaches the basics of gardening from budgeting, and preparing the soil to choosing the best plants and much more.
I cannot wait to get started!

Amazing book for beginners.
In fact, I always wanted to grow my garden and I never got it because I had no idea how to start and how to do it. I've always admired anyone who has lots of beautiful plants and it seems so easy to keep them that way. Now I'm confident that I can do that too. It's amazing!!!

Growing Dreams
Being a big fan of gardening, this book has really opened my eyes to becoming more self-sufficient. Back when I was just starting out as a gardener, I remember how tough it was with the old-fashioned methods. The soil wasn't great, and the weather always seemed to mess things up. But when I stumbled upon raised bed gardening, everything changed for the better. The author's clear explanations, along with Matthew's friendly voice, took me right back to the excitement of building my first raised bed. Now, as I put what I've learned from the book into practice, I feel that sense of growth and care all over again.
