Still enjoying the unique story lines

The storylines are excellent but Miranda's accent is grating on my last nerve she has a lisp or something and Jasmine should not have a Mexican accent because she is a second generation immigrant born to educated parents. They would all speak English perfectly

Book 7 Trusting Love

Claire is happy with her platonic romance with Deputy Peshenka. He has been hinting and outright asked her to marry him but Claire has a past that she is not ready to share.

When Deputy Peshenka goes missing, the Carson family kicks into overdrive to try to find him. (Whoops, I almost left out the fact that Claire is a kitchen assistant/server for the giant Carson family.) Are her angry words and pseudo-breakup the last that the deputy will ever hear from her?

I am purposely leaving out a lot of details because with the book the short I don't want to spoil. While this is a short novella it is packed with several differing plots, it flows fluidly. 5 stars

Daniela Acitelli is an engaging narrator. 4 stars

Book 8 Rescued by Love

This book is where historical meets contemporary. The patriarch Carson has designed a twice a year cattle run (like the old days) with modern amenities – like bringing along a bus/RV for the wives and offspring of the Carson cowboys and a few straphangers who will pay for 'the experience.' Dee is charged with helping her best friend wrangled the kids. When a crisis hits, will a character from Dee's past help or is he the cause?

Emily Zinski is an engaging narrator, as well. Her performance deserves 4 stars

Book 9 Falling for Love

Veterinarian, Dr. Joshanne Ryan, drags herself home after a particularly strenuous day dealing with the death of one of her cattle as well as the massive amounts of work both tending cattle and researching. Instead of a nice quiet evening alone, she finds a strange man awaiting her at her remote cabin. He has been stranded. When she explains that there is no way to get into town or help from a neighbor for at least 2 days, he grudgingly accepts her hospitality.

Will Romney eventually give her the accolades she expects? Or will he just bide his time until he can get back to the city and his research at University?

Yet another in this sweet series of contemporary ranchers and their friends. 4 stars for the story.

Carina Kretschmer is another very good narrator and is a wonderful voice performer. 4 stars for the narration.

Overall, 4 stars for this addition to the Carson Hill Ranch

There are no warnings to give potential listeners. This is a sweet romance whose most graphic details are reserved for the cattle :-) The adults behave themselves even as they find that they are falling for another.

Men these women love

This deals with the woman and the men they love. Being with cowboys, and cattle drives, work on the ranch and their way of lives prove changing for them. Great narration by these three women brought these heart warming story to life.

So many interesting twists and turns on the ranch

This contemporary cowboy romance series continues. Bernard still runs the ranch as he slowly lets go of the reigns to his sons. He enjoys his daughter in laws and grandkids as the family grows. I love these stories are clean and have a well developed storyline with believable and likable characters. You have attempted murder, kidnapping, drugs and it is just an enjoyable night time relaxing read. Emily Zinski does a great job withthe narration. I recommend this series.
