Better than I expected

I kind of bought this to be nice— I follow a bunch of podcasters who are friends with the author and who were promoting her book for pre-sale, and so I went ahead and bought it, and have just not done anything with it for almost two years. It seemed like a foolish decision for a long time. But once I got into it, I related more deeply than I expected to. I think I’ll go back and write out my answers over time. It might not have fit me then, but it seems to now.

Thought provoking and compelling

This book causes introspection, it is both light hearted and extremely deep and meaningful. It is easy to listen to but encourages you to think about your own life and experiences and how they have shaped the person you are and are becoming. Worth the listen and I plan to purchase the hard copy. Very well done.

Such an insightful and enjoyable listen. Read the book when it was first released but there’s something special being able to listen to the author tell/read her own stories.

Laura has a way about her, and more specifically her writing that draws you in. I’m so glad I chose to listen to her audio book before reading. Hearing Laura’s inflection and smile while telling her life’s story made the experience that much more enjoyable. Her writing (and speaking) is eloquent, relatable, and keeps you thinking. Don’t stop writing Laura!
