Publisher's summary
The Shadow War: Warriors of the Apocalypse continues the story that began with Aaron: Subject Number Seven and was followed by Wade: Subject Number Four.
No one would ever make the mistake of thinking the Kings were an ordinary family but few would understand just how extraordinary they truly were. The mysterious organization, referred to as the Cabal, that had inadvertently brought them together was also working in secret to bring down America and the rest of the world. But the Cabal wasn’t the only entity able to wage a shadow war. Using their genetic gifts and combat skills the Kings fought back. However, despite their best efforts they were unable to prevent the downfall of civilization. The King family wouldn’t let the nefarious organization have everything its way. They were determined that the members of the Cabal would never survive to profit from their machinations. Was that all that fate had in store for the family?
The storyline in The Shadow War: Warriors of the Apocalypse is tightly interconnected with the storylines of Adam II: A Post-Apocalyptic Trilogy, Aaron: Subject Number Seven and Wade: Subject Number Four. It is suggested that they be read in this order to best understand and appreciate the books.

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent.
