The “truth” of the novel. The possibility!

The narration fits the story. The entire life span of an elephant in one novel.

A wondrous “journey” and book

I give very few 5 star reviews, but this book deserved it. It’s one of the most unique books I’ve read. It wasn’t a “feel good” book, but it’s contents warranted merit. There were times of happiness and times of tears, and everything was wrapped in “heart”. When a book makes you “feels things”, that is a good book in my opinion. I also would like to acknowledge the narrator.

Wonderful story told by an elephant!

I adore elephants. They are by far my favorite creatures. This story just made me love them more seeing us and the world through the eyes of an elephant. I can’t recommend this book highly enough. Be prepared with tissues at the beautiful ending.

Phenomenal

I have loved elephants since I can remember. This book was recommended to me and I’m so thankful. It’s extremely well written and the narration is top notch. It was extremely easy to lose myself in the story. I felt like I was there on the African plains among the heard. I felt the highs and lows of every interaction, human and animal.

Very emotional

A heart full adventure of an elephant name Eishe. You feel as though you have found a friend that you love and want to be with every moment. It displays the side of Good vs Evilness in life. Overall sad at times but a great story of the life of what elephants go though. A great insight to what we humans put these animals though. Love the book.

Heartwarming

Loved this book beginning to end. Makes you wonder sometimes about humanity and how truly intelligent our fellow animals really are.
