All the feels

This was such a cute book. Emmy Sanders did such a great job capturing love in all its forms. A beautiful friendship that turns into love. It gave me all the feels.

Emmy Sanders has done it again. I absolutely loved this book. Adored Ellis & Lucky sooo much. Their friendship was so special. And their HEA was well earned. Everyone needs to read this book! Amazing narration by Blake Lockheart & Liam DiCosimo

Lucky Blue!!!

I loved the story this author brought to life between these two characters. The pining! And omg… Ellis is the absolute best! The way he loves lucky and to see the world through his eyes is just beautiful.

Perfect

This book broke my heart in slow motion, then put it back together again. I will remember Lucky and Ellis for the rest of my life. This book is one of the most beautiful stories I've ever read and I just wish I could have known them more. I would have read a thousand pages of their childhood memories and it never would have been enough. I love, love, love this book and I will never get over it.

This book was everything!! The story was amazing and the narrators were perfection! Loved everything about this!

Awesomely beautiful

My heart was extremely touched by this wonderful, enriching journey of two boys meeting at 10 and immediately bonding. Although life took them in different directions they always found their way back to each other. The old adage that 'if you love something set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If not, it was never meant to be' most definitely fit for this story. Blake Lockheart and Liam DiCosimo are in my top 20 so almost anything they perform I enjoy.

5 stars - worthy of a repeat listen

beautiful story

I really enjoyed this book. I think that you could feel the connection between the two main characters so well. it was written in such a way that their connection, Their bond just bled through the page.
I think it was realistic and made sense that Lucky had other people in his life but was never serious with any of them. He never actually believed that anything would happen with Ellis, so it didn't bother me that he found physical connections with other people while still holding on to his emotional connection to Ellis. I personally liked that Dani went from being a co-worker to a friend with benefits to the person who guided him back to Ellis. Dani made him see that he needed to be brave and say what he was feeling, and I liked that he was still able to hold on to that friendship with Dani even when him and Ellis got together.
My only, very small issue with this book, was that the miscommunication between the 2 of them got dragged out a little longer than it should have, but otherwise, this is a beautiful story of best friends/soulmates to lovers.

I think both narrators really understood their individual characters. And portrayed them so well and with so much feeling and emotion that it brought this book to another level.

This love story was brilliantly written with some very moving and emotional moments. I absolutely loved these characters and the stories behind them.
The way they connected on a level not many get to experience in their lifetime was so incredible.
The narration was amazing. These two narrators did a fantastic job complimenting each other and were perfectly suited for this story.
This story was a bit longer than I preferred, however, I never got bored and I couldn’t wait to read the next page.
I highly recommend this book!

❤️ Ellis & Lucky forever

I want to preface this by saying this may be my all time favorite story of Emmy’s. I absolutely loved Ellis & Lucky’s story. They have such a unique & beautiful connection from the very beginning! This was an incredible childhood friends to lovers story with demisexual rep as well as great neurodivergent representation. This story is a complete standalone. I enjoyed all of the side characters. I don’t think there was a single thing I didn’t like about this story. I’m so glad I bought a physical copy of this book for my shelf.

Please do yourself a favor after you finish this audiobook and check out Emmy‘s bonus epilogue for this story. She has it available in both ebook and audio format. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on it!

This is also Emmy’s first audiobook with dual narration, which I really enjoyed! Blake and Liam did an amazing job bringing this story to life!

Random thoughts: I would love to eventually listen to Emmy’s Elite 8 series on audio. *fingers crossed*
