Publisher's summary

After the Weekend is the second book in the Love and Care series. It continues Graham and Avery's story from Father of the Groom.

What Graham and Avery thought would be a single night of pleasure turned into so much more. Their needs and desires lined up perfectly, and by the time they parted after three glorious days, they both knew there was far more than lust between them.

Living in different towns makes continuing their relationship challenging, but Graham visits Avery most weekends, and their bond deepens. Avery thinks Graham is the best daddy ever and Graham loves nothing more than taking care of Avery and challenging his need to surrender. But both men are unsure exactly how far they want this relationship dynamic to go. There are so many hard questions to answer when both men would prefer to live in a fantasy world during their limited time together.

But reality is calling. Graham and Avery both have friends who need their help with major life decisions, inquisitive family members, and a growing desire to spend more time together. In order to continue their relationship, they must figure out where their boundaries lie and what they want from each other outside of the bedroom.

Another chapter in a great story.

I wonder for follow-up to the first book. Greg is a great narrator and I’m so happy that he’s voiced both book!

Good book

A good book, and a very good continuation of book 1, this one is not really standalone, you need book 1 to get the point.
But hot and naughty, and a good story.
Very enjoyable narrator

The Rest of the Story

It was fun to see what happened with Graham and Avery once the wedding party was over. They have things to work out but both handle things with honesty and maturity. So glad to see things working out for them.

part 2, better

I hate being manipulated! This author has the first book in this series at 3 hours and this second book, 4 hours, is the continuation. I only listened to the second because I had already purchased it during a sale. This second audiobook continues with great kinky sex and less angst than the first audiobook. Had I not previously purchased this one, I would have never listened to this second part. The author should have combined the two, deleted the "big misunderstanding" in the first book, then the combo of the two would have made a Much Better Book! The kinks in this book are good, with a wonderful description of fisting in this one.

Avery is too whiny and “amazing” is way overused.

I like the m/m dom/sub daddy dynamic. But my preference is a narrative that has more depth than relationship development. I found Avery’s whiny pleas grating and the limited use of descriptors annoying.

not what i expected, Daddy!!

the first book in the series was so good. I expected this to be a sweet love story with some light spanking well, it was more than I bargained for. Greg Boudreaux does a great job with the narration. this is for sure my first mm or mf with fisting scenes, a bit of a surprise for sure... It was nice to see a happy ending for Graham and Avery.... pushed the bdsm farther than I usually like but, well worth the listen....
