Story
What drives the Man Without Fear? Matt Murdock was raised by a single father, an over-the-hill prizefighter with one last chance to make good - a chance that cost him his life. Taunted and tormented by other children, Matt's life was irrevocably altered after he was blinded by radioactive materials while saving the life of an old man. The payoff? An unbreakable will and a keen intelligence, helping focus the super-senses with which he was blessed during the accident. His story is one of love, pain, disappointment, and strength.

Hey, hey, book lovers, take off those big thick glasses - this is Deadpool speaking! Sorry Marvel, somethin' happened to your copy guy. Anyway, this is my first prose novel, and they got this dude Stefan Petrucha to write it. He's good people. He's written novels and comics. But here's the thing: This book is about dogs. Dogs that turn into big nasty monsters. And then I gotta kill 'em. Thing is, I like killing people - the ones that deserve it, anyway - but I won't kill dogs. So that's what we call a character dilemma.

Perfect DD + Smith story
This graphic novel did so much right. Perfect depiction of Daredevil, compelling story, just enough ancillary side characters to ground it in the Marvel's NYC. Also fantastic voice work.
I never knew that Kevin Smith wrote any comics. It's obviously the perfect fit for him; but somehow I had no idea. I was ready for silly and raunchy Smith and I was worried about that in a PG comic. I needn't have worried. Not only did he not push the bounds of propriety, he delivered his signature brand of humor along with some clever references, all while delivering his best plot since Dogma.

Marvel at its best
There is nothing like a tribute to a character when it is delivered by a fanboy. Kevin Smith brings the goods and drops a Daredevil story that is everything from action to mystery to flat out horror. When a story of this power is dropped on a cast with these chops then you will find yourself listening to this amazing story more than once. Do yourself a favor and check out what Kevin and DD cooked up in Hell's Kitchen.

nicely done
it's more a vocal performance with background sound effects than a full fledged audio drama but they achieved a nice balance in the formatting and application with rather good vocal performances.

First time but not the last
This was a great story and the actors did a fantastic job bringing the movie (in my head) to life. Word of advice to those unfamiliar: Wikipedia and Marvel Database filled in A TON of gaps. I knew a little bit about the characters from the 90s Spiderman cartoon and the Netflix series, but there were deeper levels I was totally blind to (yes, I went there). Bottom line; ready for more.

Wow! Dark, Gritty, and Well done!
This was a fine audiobook adaptation of Kevin Smith's Graphic Novel. With a full cast and superb sound effects, this is something Graphic Audio and Dreamscape should be proud of. Matt Murdock's world is coming crashing down around him when a girl comes to him claiming she has had a child via immaculate conception. Then, things get even weirder. As the tension ratchets up, and Murdock wonders who he can trust, you will wonder who is behind this whole plot. Well executed drama. Recommended for Marvel fans or Daredevil fans who want a modern spin on an "old time" radio show.

If you love DD, it's a must-listen!
The storyline is straight outta the comics and the performances were great. This was my first time ever listening to an audiobook version of a comic book, and I'm definitely gonna listen to some more. I liked the writing, but I liked the actors' performances even more. It was a true performance, not just a single actor reading the pages of a book. It was like listening to a radio play from the days of yore.
