Story
The majority of this book is based on the concept of fallacies. This idea is the notion that people often come up with the wrong reasoning, the wrong conclusions, and the wrong steps in their logic. Since they do this, they often argue about things that completely seem to contradict each other, but they don’t. Many people base their fallacies on emotions, past experiences, biased thoughts, or some other thing that gets in the way of pure, correct, infallible logic.

how valuable EI is
the ideas I’ve gotten from this book will be applied. I’m thinking of passing this down to my kids as I’ve just been opened to how valuable high EI is to a person’s health and success. Wish Kevin Gise has written another book solely for kids.

Sensible in every sense of the word. This taught me how EQ matters greatly compared to IQ. And I must agree. I appreciate the EQ resources this book has suggested.

Golden Nuggets here
Sad to say, I have low EQ. I came to conclude this based on the past happenings in my life wherein I always fail to control my feelings and end up hurting others and myself. It’s unhealthy and I’m glad I was able to admit this to myself that I need to develop my EQ and care for others, too. I found documenting my feelings working for me. Thanks for the recommendations!

Grateful for this
Maintaining a positive feeling in every situation is something I’d like to develop in myself. Grateful I got this audiobook as I got more than what I was asking for. Moreover, I’m recommending it as it has discussed in detail how to communicate effectively and to listen well as these are just some of the most important stuffs that affects our EI.

Great starter
This is a great starter on EI. Yes, I’ve heard this concept many times before, but it’s not until now where I gave it my full attention and I’m happy I did. It teaches me how to handle criticisms be it constructive or not and how to manage my emotions whatever situations I’m in.
