Publisher's summary

New places, new threats, new cards!

Whisked away from Earth and dropped into a world filled with magic and wonder, Wildermount was the closest thing Gareth had to a home. Now it’s been destroyed, torn apart by twisted nightmares lashing out at the world around them.

Fleeing to the arcane tower he discovered with friends and refugees alike in tow, Gareth finds himself involved in new peril. Something dark is corrupting the rainforest around the tower, and stopping it will involve traveling half the world away to a place unlike any he has come across yet. A land where the dead walk the streets as smokestacks blot out the sky.

Gareth will need all the levels and experience points he can get if he’s going to survive in this new land. New enemies await him, and new cards lay waiting to be discovered, along with an ancient and powerful secret. One that might just give Gareth the edge he needs in his quest to topple the gods.

Come on Graham! God's word? Really?

Love the books and can't wait for the next! But seriously... is there any way that it's not God sword? Really??? I mean, it's all one word. There's no apostrophe. And once you find out what its referring to...You still go with God's word? Tracy, please tell me it's not God's word. It just can't be. Really hope we get this straight for the next book.

A+

The only real deck building book that really makes sense. Couple new ones I haven’t read yet but can’t imagine they are any better.

A must for fans of MTG

if you love a great fantasy myth and magic story or you love the tcg’s like MTG, than this series is a must for you. The game mechanics and story are amazing, the spells, creatures and quest are awesome. I cannot recommend this series enough! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Felt like a filler

The series up to now has been great but 85% of this book just comes across as a filler. Nothing really advances for most of the book and then everything happens quick and it's done.
I like the direction it's going but it just needs a better pace or something more to help out along.
