Publisher's summary

Caitlin Tyler doesn’t do bridges - she just doesn’t know it until she lands her dream job and freezes halfway across her new town’s towering death span. Cue the cocky, infuriating fireman who goads her off the bridge. He’s hot, but he’s also exactly the kind of guy she wants to avoid, which she manages to do for a whole four hours.

Lieutenant Shane Hendricks is only two weeks away from leaving Dry Rock. He sure as hell doesn’t need to get involved with a woman he has to rescue twice in one day. The fact that she’s clearly annoyed by him doesn’t deter him from throwing down a challenge - one that proves hard to resist for all the wrong reasons.

They’re moving in different directions. Leaving should be easy, but falling for Caitlin might be the one fire he can’t put out.

Eh…ok

It was a cute story, but details were a little all over the place. And the reader used the wrong voice for characters. Sometimes it seemed the story was written in first person, then third person. But again, cute story!

Good story but...

I really enjoyed this book except for one thing. WHY MUST EVERY writer gratuitously use the F-Bomb!! Hardly any language until last 3rd of book then 27 F-Bombs before the end!!! I realize it is a widely accepted word these days but seriously! just throwing it in when it doesn't even make sense or when it isn't even an appropriate use ... I'm just over it! ruined a good book for me!

light on "story", very repetitive

the story had potential, the characters were likeable. the story could have been 1/2 the length of the author quit belaboring the point he was leaving in 2 weeks. i got it after the first 100 times it was mentioned... . didn't need it to be repeated every other sentence.

cute and funny

it has hot and steamy scenes with a side of humor. like the sparing with undertones of sexual innuendo.

I challenge you to give this a try

(Shane & Caitlin): TRIGGERS: phobias. Well this book was freaking hilarious. A woman, thought to beat a jumper on a bridge, had managed to stop traffic. A firefighter, wanting more from his career than saving cats from trees in a small town vibes to her rescue. Almost immediately, these two begin bickering like they've known each other forever. Caitlin is afraid of almost everything and runs from her fears. Shane runs towards danger for his job. He offers to help her, but will he be the one to run when he realizes that she is what he fears most. They start as bickering towns mates, then become friends, then they decide to have a little fun and it is HOT 🔥. Even though he's leaving, it doesn't stop them from getting more involved. Such a good story and the two characters have really good backstories. I liked this book a lot.

Cute, but rushed *spoilers*

Overall it was pretty good. I guess I thought the her family had died by her over all reaction to her trauma, but that wasn't the case, thankfully for her. My only problem with the story was the last 20 minutes of the story, just felt rushed. She gave in so quickly. My heart physically hurt for her when she left after telling him how she felt and he was so cold about it. I just felt like she forgave him way too fast for what he did. He basically forced her into falling for him and cast her aside in the end. She deserved more. Everything else was great, I just wanted more for the heroine.

Begins & Ends on a Bridge 💙🚒📚♥️

Cute story about overcoming fears and finding your true destiny. Shane and Caitlin have an unusual meeting, when he rescues her in his capacity of a firefighter.

Trying to walk away while he pursues his dream is hurtful but he finally works out what is truly important.

The narrator does a good job with this story, written in third person point of view.

Good

This was my first time reading or listening to this author. This was a pretty good book that I listened to on audio. Caitlin Tyler doesn’t do bridges she is rescued twice in one day about a hot sexy firemen. Lt. Shane Hendricks is only two weeks away from leaving Dry Rock for his dream job in Denver. Caitlin has just purchased a bookstore that's on the other side of the bridge. I liked both of these characters. Caitlin is very loveable and funny but she is also a hot mess she has a fear of bridges. Shane is a hot sexy firemen (A hero) who thought she was a jumper but Shane loves getting under her skin. I listened to this book on audio and this was my first time listening to this narrator. I am looking forward to reading or listening to the next book in this series.
