Let’s start your restaurant legacy right now, right here! National chains and single independent restaurants all started with an individual and an idea. A concept. A dream. Small ideas can grow into big business. Who would have thought that a guy with a milkshake machine could start a hamburger empire? A pizza made in a garage would start today’s pizza wars? A guy with a pressure-cooker would start a fried chicken phenomena? Business ownership has always been part of the all-American dream. Restaurants are the largest entrepreneurial opportunity in America for starting the dream.

Simple and effective
I was astounded that the market value was $1.2 billion. That was a good hook from the start to get listeners engaged and wanting to hear more. I didn't find the narrator's voice to be interesting or engaging. The book is very detailed in terms of telling what potential food truck owners should expect and how to get started. The length of 3 hours is perfect for my commute home -- easy to finish, but still has some meat.

very informative,a journey into a new business
yes I actually loved it and wast sure how I would feel about the book honestly..this is actulu my very first audible book I've ever listened to in my life yet this far and I'm 34..so I would say enjoyable for my first audible book and just enjoyed the book in general! it was written well, very well actually in my opinion because sometimes it's hard for me to actually read a book and get all the info to click per say, like I might have to read a paragraph multiple times to comprehend the information it's trying to tell me. so it was spoken and written clearly and easy to comprehend definitely if your a beginner..or even if your not there are some things in this book you might not know and should possibly.m I'm sort of one of those know-it-all people or think they know it all but I'm pretty educated and food business type world as I consider myself pretty knowledgeable in that area but I even learned some things from this book as well shoot I even took notes down as well.. Even if it was something I already knew but had forgotten it's a good little refresher course especially to double check your work and make sure you have everything lined out the way it should be because if you're working by yourself you don't have anybody to back you up and check your work or go behind you and draw your attention to stuff you missed you have to do it yourself so this book I believe would help an individual with that particular task I believe. Even if you're not specifically going to do a food truck business there are a lot of great pieces of information that can go for any type of business in general I think that a person is just starting up the whole business concept of this book overall would work for multiple things you know just change a few things around that ain't food truck stuff in place of what you're trying to do still great advice all around business wise. I apologize I'm not so great with words all the time things sound good in my head but don't always sound good coming out of my mouth or Even understandable for that matter so hope some things I've said are not too confusing but overall I enjoyed the book and I would recommend it to people interested in this field or line of work.

Impressive hands on professional insights!
I just finished this book and wow the author details all the nitty gritty and unforeseen aspects in business, any business, not just the food truck business. It was the articulation in explaining not just only the dream but the detailed processes in getting a new business off the ground, and the sustained discipline that's required to grow. He touches on subjects one would never consider; both eye opening and practical at the same time. This is an up to date wonderful guide and good introduction to starting your own business in our changing and challenging environment. Highly recommended.

Cut to the chase
This audio book was informative. It's a great book for beginners with no experience in the food industry. It gets straight to the point and I like how the authors gives us pros and cons about food trucks. The start cost seems night and day from a traditional brick and mortar which is something to consider. There were great instructions in regards to the legality of starting your own food truck business. Overall, I'd recommend all those who want to start a business to give this audio a listen.
