Publisher's summary

The Argeneaus are back! Filled with love, passion, and adventure, New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands returns with another sexy romance about everyone's favorite immortals.

Stephanie McGill was attacked and turned when she was just a teenager. Worse, her abilities are unlike any other immortal. Now 13 years later, with the help of her adopted Argeneau family, Steph has carved out a new – if not lonely – life for herself. Until a new neighbor arrives…

Thorne is also one-of-a-kind. The result of a genetic experiment, he’s not an immortal, but he’s not mortal either. He’s looking for a place to hide, to get some peace and quiet so he can figure things out, and Stephanie’s sanctuary is perfect. In fact, Stephanie is perfect. For the first time, Thorne is free to be himself and he’s falling for her.

But if they’re going to have a future together, they’ll first need to deal with their past…because the mad scientist who created Thorne is now after Stephanie.

Better than TV

It was so hard not to stop hearing or reading. I even had my husband listening to the story instead of TV. We had trouble stopping listening or reading the book.

Awesome

I loved this, I couldn't wait to get into my car to hear it. The narrator was great with the voices of the characters.

One of my favorite authors!
She does it again.
Great story. Engaging and all kinds of feels.
Can't imagine what she's going to come up with on the next one, whose in the next story?!!!!
Looking forward to the next book.

Simply Great!

I love this series and this author. This was one of the best. My favorites are the books based in Port Henry and the characters we meet there. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of Dressler. I have listened to it many times after reading on Kindle and it has several hints in it like where did he get the weapons and from who? Plus Thorne thinking no one would put his head back on.

Fan

Loved it as all ways from beginning to end, did not want it to end before the wedding. (I bet that will be hilarious. )

Stephanie and Thorne

Stephanie doesn't disappoint with her sharp tounge and matter of fact. I'm glad that Thorne gets a happy ending too

A warm bubble bath

Just like a warm bubble bath, it’s both soothing and relaxing to slip back into this familiar world of Immortals. I’ve devoured this series from Book zzand enjoyed this one immensely too. The characters are highly likable and are a good fit for each other so you’re rooting for them to be together. (And if you’ve read the books before, you know the instant attraction and bonding happens early and easily, and that’s one of the main themes of the series.)
The cameo of main characters from previous books were delightful little bubbles that made the book more enjoyable. These are the same people I fell in love with them while reading their stories and I want to know they are doing well.

The narrator’s performance was spot on with accents, and the cadence and timing sounded natural. None of those random, stilted, lines that you think a computer strung together that take you out of the story for a moment. Well done!

Overall, I soaked in this lovely world of the Immortals once again and loved every moment.
