Passa dal materiale all’estratto, dalla narrazione alle considerazioni personali e dalla politica al mondano con una facilità ed uno stile sorprendenti.
La storia non è scontata. Tratta diversi personaggi inventati le cui storie si intrecciano in una Cecoslovacchia all’epoca del comunismo.
Ho letto di una lettrice lamentarsi per la narrazione sessista.. ma io non sono d’accordo, l’autore cerca di rappresentare tanto la mentalità maschile che quella femminile, e comunque bisogna considerare l’epoca in cui è vissuto l’autore.
La narrazione è anche ottima, consiglio.

Sessualità maschilista
Totalmente delusa da un libro di cui ero curiosa. Le donne in questo romanzo sono rappresentate come pure e semplici oggetti e la sessualità del protagonista libertino e egocentrico è il tema centrale del romanzo. Che noia e disgusto. Bentivoglio è un lettore eccellente, peccato il libro sia pessimo.
