Publisher's summary
"Beep! Beep! Beep!"
Meet Blue. A muddy country road is no match for this little pick up - that is, until he gets stuck while pushing a dump truck out of the muck. Luckily, Blue has made a pack of farm animal friends along his route. And they're willing to whatever it takes to get their pal back on the road.
Filled with truck sounds and animals noises, here is a rollicking homage to the power of friendship and the rewards of helping others.

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

The mouse is good enough to eat but smart enough to know this, so he invents...the gruffalo! As Mouse explains, the gruffalo is a creature with terrible claws, and terrible tusks in its terrible jaws, and knobbly knees and turned-out toes, and a poisonous wart at the end of its nose. Story
The big city sure is a speedy, noisy place for a country truck like Blue. Everywhere Blue looks, he sees buses, police cars, taxis, vans, a street sweeper, and even the mayor’s limousine. Zooom! Wooeeee! "Make Way!" With everyone pushing to be first, soon there’s a giant traffic jam! But even a wrangle-tangle is no match for Little Blue Truck, who comes to the rescue in true Blue style.

Story
A mouse is taking a stroll through the deep, dark wood when along comes a hungry fox, then an owl, and then a snake. But Mouse has no worry to show. After all, there's no such thing as a gruffalo....

Buckets and buckets of tacos. Unfortunately, where there are tacos, there is also salsa. And if a dragon accidentally eats spicy salsa...oh, boy. You're in red-hot trouble.

This Book Helped Save My Parenting and Sanity
This is a very well performed audio book with a slow pace perfect for young toddlers just getting a grasp on language and pronunciation. It is perfect for following along with our copy of the printed version. But even if this performance was utter crap, I would still love it absolutely and completely. I love to read aloud to my children, I cherish the time we spend reading; but this is my son's favorite book and I've been reading it up to 10 times a day. I want to read other things. I NEED to read other things. This book haunts my dreams. I have it memorized. Someday they'll discover it's been literally branded on my brain. When I go to give a toast at my son's wedding, I'll open my mouth and all that will come out Is "horn went beep! Engine purred..." Being able to listen to this book with my son following along in the pages is the best thing that has happened to my parenthood in weeks.
