A fun ending for our vampires
Not as intense as the first book. But still a great story and you get satisfaction for all your fav characters actually having their story completed. I love the world created here. And I’ve really grown to enjoy and look forward to Dana Dane’s narration!

ending was okay but would have liked a little more to go on about the order or the ones that was on the punishment and such to know their outcome. but still good book and narrator.

better with some caveats
this was a great sequel. I still found Sylvia unbearable until there was only about 2 hours left. Kier was what kept me going, much like the first book, I loved her instantly.

Storytelling and Narration better than the 1st book
I bought this audiobook because I wanted to finish the series, but was not anticipating the cringey narration of the first book. To my surprise there was no awkward moaning of “Keir.” The intimate scenes are also so much hotter than in the first book. I think it has a lot to do with the author’s much improved writing skills and the narrator being more experienced and comfortable with those scenes.
Either way, this audiobook was leaps and bounds better than the first.

My Favorite Vampire Series Yet
I love Kier and Sylvia’s dynamic. Each of the characters, even the minor ones were so beautifully crafted and detailed. I am so excited the author continued writing about this world because I think she has created a truly captivating one. I would love to see even more stories involving characters we’ve already met. I love Emory’s fire and would love to see her get a love story of her own or Nish or even together. Can’t wait to continue to see how she develops this world even more!
