"Over the last four decades, I've met one-on-one with thousands of men. Most of them know that Jesus promised "a rich and satisfying life" (John 10:10), but too many are confused about what that looks like. In fact, I'd estimate that 90 percent of Christian men lead lukewarm, stagnant, defeated lives—and they hate it. When men try to put into words what's holding them back, they invariably describe one or more of seven symptoms. But you can experience a powerful life transformed by Christ. I'll tell you how." Whether you’re considering a religious vocation or simply trying to lead a Christ-centered life, Franciscan friar Casey Cole has news: Christian life doesn't end with a profession of faith or hearing of God's call. That's when it begins. Story
Are you ever concerned that you don’t deserve to love and be loved because you are continually having to prove yourself? In You Are Beloved, Bobby Schuller shows you how to let go of these fears and put your trust in the One who sees you for who you really are. Here is an easy to follow, proven path to personal dignity for all those who think they are not good enough no matter how much they achieve. This path is illuminated by the truths that it is not about what you accomplish, but what has already been accomplished for you; not about what you have, but what has already been provided; and not about who others say you are, but who God says you are. Know that you are valued, cared for, and embraced. You Are Beloved will help you rebuild your life as a response to that assurance.

Health and wellness campaigns preach avoidance of unhealthy foods, sedentary lifestyles, tobacco, drugs, and alcohol, but rarely preach avoidance of unhealthy, difficult, or toxic people. Yet the health benefits of removing toxic people from your life may have far greater benefits to both physical and psychological health. We need to learn to be better gatekeepers for our minds, bodies, and souls. Narcissism, entitlement, and incivility have become the new world order, and we are all in trouble. They are not only normalized but also increasingly incentivized.

The real pandemic is Loneliness
Great book and a must read for all Christian Men.
There is a real spiritual war, we are losing, and the solution is not some elected official. It's friendship. Deep, authentic friendship. The true gift of covenant friendship (Christian accountability) is not solving your life problems with porn, alcohol or drugs (although it is the most powerful spiritual weapon against these things). It's being there for another as they navigate these waters. We all need Jesus desperately, but while living in these flawed bodies in a flawed world, we need to surround ourselves with Christian brothers. This book is a great place to start the journey.

Excellent! My favorite of Justin’s books
This was a poignant book on covenant friendship, and how the gospel shapes our lives through community, commitment, and connection. I’m so grateful for the wisdom I learned in reading these pages! The author is an excellent narrator as well!

Outstanding example and exhortation for godly friendship
The authors' emphasis on embracing vulnerability and honesty as a means to friendships was truly inspiring. They brought vitality to the idea of fostering deep friendships based on solid biblical principles.

Worth thinking about sooner rather than later
This was a good book, one I'll recommend to friends. The concepts were stretching, in the best of ways. It's a little tough as an older person to adapt to some of the ideas, I wish I had read this in my twenties. The Voice Talent did an excellent job, with inflections and emotion in all the right places. The editing left a bit to desired, as there were several sections that repeated themselves. this happened frequently enough that I started to wonder if the repeats were on purpose, but they weren't generally lines that you would expect to been repeated.

Propels you to friendship
There were times I cried wanted the friendships described and more often I found myself nurturing and intentionally reaching out to the people in my world I imagine this being possible with right now. At our church we say at our church that discipleship is friendship in the context of Jesus and this painted the picture.
