Our families have been friends forever and he dated my sister back when I was still just a kid, but even if me and my right hand may have pined for him once upon a time, I barely ever think of him anymore.

I mean never. I never think of him anymore.

Weddings are a great place to get laid, but when I show up for my ex’s big day, I’m hoping to get a lot more than that. I’ve never admitted it, but the reason I broke up with her all those years ago was because of her brother. One look at little Simon Lawson and I was a goner. Of course I didn’t say anything though, not back then. I didn’t touch him. Always kept my distance. I had to, because he was just a kid...but he’s all grown up now.

I’ve bided my time for years, but now I’m ready to see if the feeling is mutual. And if it is, I know exactly what I want. I want Simon. I want a family. And I want it forever. Always on each anothers minds but never doing anything about it. When an unexpected opportunity arises, Hunter steps up in a huge way.

This was a surprisingly good tale, with excellent characters and a good explanation, especially with Emmett's scientific knowledge added into it.

The narration was done well this time around and each character was discernible.

good listen

good sweet feel-good book. It had me laughing on the train all day long. It made the time fly by. Charlie did a great job with this book and all the humor. I really like it.

A Club And Decisions

This is the first book in The Omega Celibacy Club Series. A delightful book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters interesting. The characters were developed and thought out. Hunter is an Alpha and Simon is an Omega and they are the MC’s of this book. Charlie David does a great job narrating this book. It has great highs and lows with good expression. So, it is not monotone, and he has different voices for each character. I can recommend this book as a good read/listen. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Great!

Awesome start to a series. Simon and Hunter story is full of adorable sexy moments that can't be beat. I loved the dynamic with the Omega/Alpha and how they came together and broke stereotypes. First time Charlie David narration for me and it fit this story perfectly. Tone and flow made a smooth listen from chapter to chapter. I loved all the characters and his voice brought out all their personalities!

Ok story

This story was not for me. It was written well but I was not a fan of the fact that Simon was made to be an omega who is whinny and can’t do anything without his alpha Hunter. I thought Simon was going to be a strong omega from the beginning of the story but then he went against everything he said. Hunter is sweet and always wanting to do the right thing and take care of Simon.

Perfection!

I absolutely love this story so much! Simon and Hunter's story is just so funny and sweet. I love reading this story but listening to the audiobook is just perfection. Charlie David does such an amazing job in bring the characters chemistry to life that I just could feel in even more. Just everything is perfect and made the story so much more. Amazing job!

Not bad

The story wasn’t bad but I was ready for it to end just so I wouldn’t have to hear “my baby” anymore

I <3 Angel Knots!

I’m a huge Angel Knots fan—more so with her earlier stuff (dragons!)—but Omegaverse has never really been high up on my list. This series fits right into what a good Omegaverse should be, though. It follows Simon and his friends/roommates as they embark on creating a Celibacy Club so that none of them lose out on their “omega dreams.” Hint: they all fail, lol. It’s got humor, HOT knotty fun, snacks, and porn...pretty much everything you could ask for. My only complaint (and perhaps it’s a personal preference?) is that the characters are very “wordy.” There’s a lot of thought processing that goes on in every scene. It kind of detracts from what’s actually happening in the chapter as Simon or Hunter (whoever’s POV it’s in) goes off on tangents in their head for awhile and then eventually pop back into what’s currently happening like “oh wait, we’re actually having sex right now.” After awhile, it drags on and on with the characters thinking the same things over and over, if that makes sense. I feel like a lot of that word fluff could be cut out and this would still be an amazing book (albeit shorter). I’m also a fan of Charlie David’s work. He has some great books out there where he brings in accents like nobody’s business (Cardeno C’s Until Forever Comes and Damon Suede’s Hot Head, for example). He did well differentiating from each of the main characters, and even the roommates (based on their personality), but some of the voices outside of those got a little murky. However, I expected that as all the characters are from the same area and there’s really only so many pitches you can use for as many characters pop up in this book. My personal preferences aside, this was still a great book and I’m excited to continue on in the series. I get the feeling that a lot of the four (four, right?) books will actually end up running concurrently with each other and it will be fun to see what’s going on with each of the roommates.

I can't love this series more!!

What's an ambitious omega to do when faced with getting all you want or finding an alpha? Making a celibacy pact with your friends helps Simon feel so sure he will be able to finish his degree. And then there's Hunter, he has known Simon for a very long time and feels he is finally in a place where he can have him. Oh the feels!! So good, so sweet and so sexy!!

Great start

This was a sweet and fun book. I enjoyed the development between Hunter and Simon. Don’t let the title fool you...this audio is steamy!!! Charlie David is a hot or miss narrator for me but I liked what he did with this book.
