Publisher's summary

Two people desperate for answers wade through smoke and mirrors within the Alien world of Harmony in this new novel by New York Times bestselling author Jayne Castle.

His name is Joshua Knight. Once a respected explorer, he’s now called the Tarnished Knight by the press. He took the fall for a disaster in the Underworld, destroying his career. The devastating event occurred in the newly discovered sector known as Glass House—a maze of crystal that is rumored to conceal powerful Alien antiquities. The rest of the Hollister Expedition team disappeared and are presumed dead.

Whatever happened down in the tunnels scrambled Joshua’s psychic senses and his memories, but he’s determined to reveal the truth. Labeled delusional and paranoid, he retreated to an abandoned mansion in the desert, a house filled with mirrors. Now a recluse, Joshua spends his days trying to unlock the secrets in the looking glasses that cover the walls. He knows he is running out of time.

Talented, ambitious crystal artist Molly Griffin is shocked to learn that the Tarnished Knight has been located. She drops everything and heads for the mansion to talk to Joshua, confident she can help him regain control of his shattered senses. She has no choice—he is the key to finding her sister, Leona, a member of the vanished expedition team. Joshua reluctantly allows Molly to stay one night, but there are two rules: she must not go down into the basement, and she must not uncover the mirrors that have been draped.

But her only hope for finding her sister is to break the rules. …

Lots of mysteries to solve

I always love the dust bunnies and Newton didn’t disappoint. The Moms were great! Molly and Justin tackle all of the various mysteries with panache. It was nice to include the Guild Boss wedding.

Great As Usual

Good laugh out loud humor with a fabulous plot. Only sad point, is that I have to wait for the next book. Barbara Rosenblat also did a great job with the different voices.

I love Harmony!

Castle has done it again. This book doesn’t disappoint, it references most of my favorite characters from the Harmony series but has its own unique story. Thank you Jayne Castle.

When is the next BOOK?!!

I enjoyed this book very much and the series is my number one go to for my listening pleasure! JC is my favorite author and I read and listen A LOT. People in Glass Houses was involved, funny, exciting and the love story was heart warming. There was not a lot of sex, which I don't mind because with JC books I love the adventure of new worlds and the different types of talent she includes in the telling. The narration was excellent however, who's surprised by that, not with Barbara Rosenblat sharing her talents with us! She has the ability to pull you into her world so you can share in the fun. I am sad that I went through the book so fast. Now I have months to wait for the next in the series.
