Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

What would you do if the world as you knew it suddenly came crashing down around you? A financial system in shambles, America slowly slips closer and closer toward collapse. As everything is in ruin, a suburban city burns. As small group of unlikely survivors bands together to weather the storm. A few well prepared, well-armed, and well-trained friends band together. Jim Wyatt had always said that if everything fell apart, he didn’t want to just survive - he didn’t want to notice. When the world did crash, his family’s home of Stonemont became not only a refuge, but a place where it might be possible to start over again, and reclaim the American ideal. Among the many novels in the SHTF/TEOTWAWKI genre, The Reversion stands apart – and, perhaps, alone. It does not follow the survival learning curve of the unprepared or minimally-prepared, as so many excellent books have already done so well. Rather, it is the story of a man who was prepared, and ...

On its release, Steven Smith's first book, The Reversion, became an instant classic in the preparedness/ survival/TEOTWAWKI genre. But the reviews and growing readership proved that it was more. It transcended its original target audience to appeal to many who had no previous interest in survivalism or preparedness as a lifestyle and made the jump to general adventure fiction. The reasons for this were several. It was well written, expansive in scope yet easy to follow. It told an interesting, compelling, story - intricate in its construction but smooth in its presentation. It introduced ...

Story
"I didn't realize how much I would miss grocery shopping until it was gone." Life was pretty good. The love of Alice's life had proposed, they were proud new homeowners, and she'd just landed a great promotion at work. Things were going to plan. Well, they were, until the Red Death struck. Billions dead in a matter of weeks. The survivors are few and far between. No one is safe. Life will never be the same again.

Bad AI
So many of the words were mispronounced or changed. Very emotional story but absolutely no emotional connection given. I know it’s AI but someone still needs to check what’s being said and correct all the mistakes.

Really bad
Just like the first book, the main caricature is a self righteous John Rambo while everyone else is too incompetent to tie their own shoes. Being a free book, I expected nothing… yet I am still disappointed.
