Publisher's summary

“One leaps, one slides, one flies. One will be chosen. One will be copied. One will be lost.”

Those are the words of Sybilla's prophecy. Her visions all seem to come true in one way or another. Now the lives of three young women and the destiny of a hero hang in the balance.

But Aden doesn't believe in fate. He's determined to make his own future and with it a future for all the world.

So far he has resisted the dictates of the board and turned down the lure of the shadow. Does he have what it takes to defy destiny, itself?

Book 4

I received a free code in exchange for a honest review. If you started from book one, you know what you're getting into. There's plenty of story progression, and its spicy enough when you're in the mood without making things awkward as long as you're using headphones. I highly recommend this if you liked books 1-3

Keeps getting better

This series and story have so much to offer fans of the genres it crosses and it does nothing but get better with each page. This story have so much depth and yet I have to wonder whether or not everything will be able to be touched upon before the end of the series. I certainly hope it all is. The shadow and gods are now stepping up to the plate against the prism. This is a series I highly recommend to anyone.

Jonathan Waters and Maeve York are such a good narration duo.

Great again but weird ending

This is another great book from David Burke. I highly recommend it. The end of it seems a little strange, but I think this is a set up for the final confrontation, or maybe even something better

excellent continuation

this was probably the hardest book for me as well as the longest awaited. I'm so glad to finally know what that damn prophecy means. also curse you, curse you. Sean Oswald!

The narrator is continued to knock it out of the park

Orange bond decision, deaths and new characters!

As required by U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations and Audible requirements, I am disclosing that I was given a free review copy of this audiobook at my request. I have listened to the audiobook, and I have voluntarily left an honest review. Receiving a review copy did not influence my rating nor my review.

“Prism Academy 4 - Prophecy” is a terrific addition to the series; both the story and the narration are excellent.

Aden’s 6th bond has been teased for awhile now, and I’m sure we all have picked our own favorite, as has each of his bonds. At long last, Aden makes his decision and forms his sixth bond. Aden explores appropriating powers (with their permission, and the permission of his bonds) of other women. Cara becomes a more sympathetic character in this episode, but….ahhh…no spoilers! I especially liked the ongoing development of ANOP as more than an A.I.

There are a couple of significant deaths (and lots and lots of other death and mayhem!) along with a new villain for Aden and team to face.

Aden and team’s powers continue to grow dramatically, and I’m glad that the author includes just enough stats information within the chapters. For those listeners who want detailed intensive stats, the author provides a couple/few chapters of just heavy stats, and makes it clear they are skippable without impairing understanding/enjoyment of the story. Yep…I skipped ‘em.

A current trend within haremlit is for the covers to be updated. Sometimes the new cover is better, sometimes worse and sometimes pretty much the same. I’ll just say that I like the current (new) cover, but that I REALLY liked the original cover. The first cover really showed off curves with the form fitting latex bodysuits, and I really liked the girl-next-door facial expressions of Twinkle/Kenna and Valkyrie/Petra. Also, the new cover has both Twinkle and Valkyrie as redheads (in the story, Twinkle’s red hair is mentioned several times as a unique characteristic).

Yep; that’s pretty much the only criticism I have! This is a 5* episode for the Prism Academy series!

Still one of the best superhero books around!

This is one of those series where there is no slog. Just when it seems the story is moving towards slog territory, boom spicey times, or boom, time to fight. Then there are the school/government/company politics that always has to be dealt with. I can't say enough about this series in general...everyone who likes a good level up should read/listen to it. This particular episode has a lot to cover so you should get to it.

I may have received a free code for this audiobook in exchange for an early and honest review but I would have purchased it anyway via whyspersync or just spent the credit. This book is too good to pass up.

great listen

Other than a few tiny issues with the mc, this was a pretty great read. he didnt pull any solo acts that got himself into trouble or anything of the sort, which was a concern in the earlier books. This shows character growth which is very important in any story.
I love it and am hopeful there's a lot to go in this series yet and doesn't end at book 5.
Keep up the good work.

It’s about damn time!!!

I love this series I cannot wait for the next book. Aiden is finally at full power, but he can get stronger. I love the character arcs. Everyone is getting better and stronger. Bring on the next one, but only complaint is that I wanted more dammit
