Clean second chance contemporary
4.25 stars/ spoilers ahead
In the past week I've read 4 books with blonde female leads. I'm not sure if that says something about my reading choices or contemporary books in general. Don't get me wrong the books were great. That's just a pattern I keep seeing.
On to the review. The book started out with a very easy plot line, but all of a sudden there are flash back chapters without warning. That just confused me. Then the big climax hit and only one person apologized? They wanted her at 16 to make an adult decision that was well thought out? Then he never considered the repercussion of the choice that he made? He was 18 and made a choice that influenced what she did. Even an adult female, who just found out life changing new, would react badly to seeing the person they thought they loved that loved then back cheating! After having been ignored for over a week. The fact that you thought she didn't know, wouldn't find out, and that she should have just brushed it off speaks to how childish they both were at the time.

Heartbreaking
I enjoyed listening to Second Chance with Her Athlete. Ruby and Carter was high school sweethearts, but Ruby left without anyone knowing where she went. This story is full of heartbreak, misunderstandings, and hard love. Highly recommened.
