A relentless sniper, a love once lost, and a battle-scarred SEAL at a crossroads

Harper Cunningham, a seasoned member of SEAL Team 3, thrives in the brotherhood of the battlefield but shuns the mantle of leadership after clashes with high-ranking officers. His heart, buried under the scars of war, still mourns Lydia, the woman he loved and lost to a sniper's bullet in North Africa—a loss that haunts his every mission.

Yet fate has a twist in store. Tasked with leading a special Silver Team, a unit of experienced SEALs, Harper is drawn into a high-stakes mission to preempt emerging terrorist threats. The mission takes an unexpected turn when he uncovers a startling truth: the sniper he killed in retribution was the wrong man.

As Harper navigates this dangerous new landscape, a stunning revelation upends his world: Lydia is alive. Torn between the path of revenge and the rekindling of an old flame, Harper stands at a crossroads, where every choice leads to irrevocable consequences. In this high-octane tale of loyalty, betrayal, and undying love, will Harper find his way to redemption, or will the shadows of the past consume his future?

Follow Harper in Book 1 of Sharon Hamilton's brand new SEAL Brotherhood series, with a whole new cast of characters, and the emergence of many you've loved from her past stories.

Excellent story and narrator JD Hart

I had previously read the ebook so was familiar with the story. However hearing it read by JD enhanced the story of this new series. The premise of this story is to utilize older military men who were SEAL trained and personnel from other agencies in acting as a new group called the Silver Team. Harper Cunningham is still dealing with the aftermath of mission that left his wife dead. He also is a senior SEAL and trying to decide on whether to stay in or retire due to several issues besides the loss of his wife. With all this he is suddenly contacted by the Admiral and next thing you know he is meeting with the President on a proposed new mission for some specifically selected senior SEALS. While there he learns some compelling news about the mission that took his wife. Harper accepts this job and things happen fast after that. Sharon has taken us on a ride that will floor you and JD has made the story become even more alive. Hope, salvation, redemption and yes a very happy ending. O and we also have a wonderful canine friend named, Venom. Enjoy.

I Love Sharon Hamilton SEAL books!!!

I enjoy hearing J.D. Hart narrate these books by Sharon Hamilton but I would love to hear these stories in dual narrator. However, he is one of my favorite male narrators so no complaints from me! He does an incredible job as Harper and really puts his feelings into the story which gives it what is needed to be a spectacular book!
The beginning of a new series, SEAL Brotherhood Silver Team. I can never get enough of Sharon Hamilton and her SEALs!!
Tropes:
• Military
• Lost Love
• Second Chances
• Destined to be together

Book 1 gives us Harper and Lydia. Two years after losing his wife Harper is approached about a new team, a team to lead and the first assignment takes him to the man that killed Lydia. After thinking he was already died, Harper finds out that the man he killed was not the killer. Doing recon, Harper comes face to face with the woman he has never stopped loving but she doesn’t know him.
Can Harper convince her to trust him and let him do his job and also trust him enough to give him a chance to prove everything he is saying is real?
Sharon Hamilton gives us all the emotions in the beginning book of a much-anticipated series!

Something about Silver!!

Something about Silver: SEAL Brotherhood Silver Team written by Sharon Hamilton. Wow! What a great book! This is a new series about SEAL guys a little later in life. These men can’t seem to stop their need to serve and save the world one bad guy at a time. Their passion has no bounds and they run into trouble in the same way most people run away. Harper gets the chance of a lifetime to remedy the pain of losing his wife by taking out the man that caused his pain. But this story has an even bigger secret and I know that you will love every minute of it!

Devotion to duty, Commitment to and love of family, Undying love of a spouse.

I loved the realism in the story. Loosing the love of his life, but not settling for less, even two years later. The love of a son for his father. Refusing to put his sick father into a home and forget about him. Weighing duty to country and family. Trying to figure out how to go on and “What’s next?”. The characters were dealing with real life issues faced by military members with families. Unfortunately for Harper, everything is happening at once.
Sharon Hamilton has amazed me once again with her wonderful, action packed, and romantic story about Harper and Lydia.
The only thing I would add is more on Lydia’s life after the shooting.

When Harper Cunningham from Team seal 3 lost his wife and heart all he wanted was the men that killed her. this is what harper goes through to find something to believe in again . I loved how harper was strong even when what happened would of put most men on other paths. Fantastic beautiful story
