Publisher's summary

Like father, like son?

Vera Harlow is a survivor. After a chance encounter led to her being held captive in a disgusting house of horrors, she fought tooth and nail to escape the clutches of a man known only as The Slob. But while she may have fled the disastrous situation, the details of her struggle are now carved into her flesh and soul.

Vera’s son is the product of utter depravity. Harold, the sinister seed left by the man who took everything from her, continues to blossom in nauseating fashion. His features and habits are stomach-churning, vividly familiar, and becoming more disturbing by the day. Determined to coax out the bright side of her child that she sees an occasional glimpse of, Vera strives for normalcy. But will the faint light she’s chasing shine through the darkness, or will she be left cleaning up another gruesome mess?

The sequel to Aron Beauregard's Splatterpunk Award-nominated work of depravity, The Slob, will bring you back to the forefront of filth and carnage with a unique and terrifying new trajectory.

Author needs therapy

Author needs therapy, but, damn he writes great anxiety inducing horror. Love his books so far. This is the 3rd one I've finished in less than a week.

A Polarizing Tale of Trauma

Not for the faint of heart. Son of Slob is a harrowing glimpse into the life of a survivor or extreme abuse and torture. The constant pull of morality vs perceived love with a dash of Stockholm is a recipe that will leave you shaken to the core while also finding a way to make you sympathize with the main character. A wonderful horror read.

Another great from Aron with wonderful narration!

I was wondering how this book would follow up with the greatness that is The Slob but not only did it live up to its predecessor, it held it’s own! I was definitely on the edge of my seat throughout it.
The narration was also excellent and clear.

Viera

The main character viera is amazing and I love how he wrote the book and you can feel her emotions. BUT for the gruesome inside of the book it’s not as bad as the slob actually I figured it would be worse but I guess since it’s longer the story is interesting a lot happens that yes indeed horrible and gross but not as much as the slob if we are comparing the two.

Masterpiece

I enjoyed this book. Sure splatter punk isn’t for the feint of heart but for horror fans. It’s an absolute masterpiece

That’s Where The People Go…

This is easily some of the best narration I’ve heard in some time, Lila Kerry knocked it out of the proverbial park with The Slob, and continues the trend with its sequel.

As for the story itself, It veered drastically with how I pictured it would go. Very bleak, very downbeat, very Beauregard. Easily worth the audible credits to those who tend to delve into the darker side of horror fiction. Recommended!

Holy ShizWhiz

Honestly, I loved it. 10/10 recommend. The story was intense yet grappling. Plus I loved the ending, genuine satisfaction….mostly lol.
