Story
Ben Dailey's Viper Company has one motto: Play hard and fight even harder. The crew is comprised of some of the most elite fighters in the Fleet, though occasionally overconfident and, some might say, obnoxious. So when Dailey is handed down a mysterious, high-security mission that's ostensibly a search-and-rescue for his once-upon-a-time academy rival turned brother in arms, he's convinced there's more to the job than meets the eye. Soon, the USF Murphy is on its way to the edge of the Void to track down what happened to Capt. Rick Bearing and the Asher-5.

Reluctantly, the young XO, Galvin Quintos, will be taking command of the fleet's crippled dreadnaught, the USS Hamilton, while doing his best to bring fleet survivors back to Earth. To make matters worse, there’s a murderer running loose on board the ship, critically low fuel levels, and the Grish are back, in fast pursuit and ready to finish what they’d started. Publisher's summary
Twenty-one years have passed since the end of the wars against the Insectoids and the rogue AI Machineships.
A new generation of Shilohs has joined the Space Force, much to the joy of the AIs that still revere the memory of The Cag, Victor Shiloh. And, once again, humanity is in mortal danger. The temporal backlash from multiple time jumps that the Friendlies had warned against is making itself felt with a vengeance.
Can humans and their loyal AI allies find a way to undo their meddling with time? Changing the past without resorting to time travel will be but half the battle.
Victor Shiloh and his AI allies, Iceman, Valkyrie, Casanova, and the others, will have to find a military solution to the nightmarish Insectoid peril. There can be no time travel shortcuts this time. It will be a battle to the death, with the fate of all life in the galaxy hanging in the balance.

Story
After almost a century of peaceful exploration and colonization of space, the United Earth Space Force stumbles across a shockingly xenophobic alien race that has more and better armed ships and refuses all attempts at contact. For generations, we colonized worlds, and the human race spread throughout the galaxy. One discovery could end it all. They called the ship Lady Vengence, and her Captain, Gavin Andal, was young, a bit arrogant, and the perfect fit for a bunch of misfits more interested in shore leave than work. Nobody was interested in being a hero. Sometimes there's no choice.

Story
The year is 1992. Over twenty years have passed since Soviet General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev was assassinated by a crazed gunman. Since that time, the Soviet Union has been put on a course toward economic success—and war. In the Balkans, Yugoslavia's collapse into ethnic violence draws NATO and the Warsaw Pact to the brink of Armageddon. Armies deploy and fleets maneuver. Political intrigue engulfs Moscow and Washington, and paranoia radiates from the Iron Curtain. In the zero-sum game of Cold War, neither side can afford to blink or back down.

I'm a pretty unique guy. I have golden blood flowing through my veins. There are only about thirty people like me in the entire world. Yes, golden blood is a real thing. Google it if you don't believe me. My blood has allowed me to join a group of test subjects, eventually becoming the proud owner of an AI neural chip best known as Alisa. My blood has allowed me to be reborn after death: reborn to a new life in a world governed by magic, a world where humans are locked in mortal combat with monsters. Reborn—into the body of a terminally ill young guy who has but two days left to live.

The last thing I remember was being cryogenically frozen, but now I was in a strange room, surrounded by advanced technology I had never seen before. My confusion only grew as I explored this new world–a future that was nothing like I ever could have imagined. It didn't take long for me to learn that humanity was extinct and that I was now in the hands of a stunning AI, a siren with camouflaging powers, and a monster girl who happens to be a great engineer–beings that are as fascinating as they are strange.

Love the Continuation
The Synchronicity War books were the first I have listened to from Dietmar Wehr. Kinda turned me into a fan boy. Finally got to get to the continuation of the saga. Prior to listening to this, I went back and did the first four books again to catch me back up. Very happy how this progressed and the story played out.
Looking forward to the next volume. Such a great series.
