This has been an amazing series to listen to. I love the way one book feeds off of the one before it but is still its own story.

Nice Christian stories

It was a cute set of stories about all the people in a town called Blueberry Beach. It was nice to be immersed in the place and with the people there.

I love all his books that he has written. As I find more I will get them too.

Sweet and heartwarming series.

good Christian series stories are easy to get lost into. I probably would not have finished the series if it was not for the box set

Increases my Faith!!

I loved every story! My faith and love for God grew stronger after reading each story! Thank you Jessie for reminding readers through your writing of the love and grace we should strive to show everyone we encounter in our life and the importance of acknowledging GOD in all we do!!🙏🏽

Contrived

These stories seem very contrived. I’ve listened to many Christian book series that weave the characters faith naturally into the story where people lean on their faith for strength, courage, or guidance during life events. This series comes across as if the author made a list of Christian principles and admonishment he wanted to advance and then contrived the story around those ideas. It came across as very preachy, with many mentions of sin, guilt, shame, God’s judgement or punishment. I did not find these stories uplifting in the way stories of the same genre typically present themselves.

Story was interesting

Well-developed characters. Story was not cookie-cutter, which is appreciated. Was not a fan of narration mostly due to “baby talk” voices used for older children/teenaged characters. Enjoyed storyline up until the last book.
