Only together do they begin to unravel that which is responsible, not only for the murders, but the systematic corroding of our entire species. Lori had set out in search of a serial killer. Instead, all the while, she was on the trail of something completely unexplainable—a threat to our very human existence, molded out of an unrivaled and collective evil.
