Story
Pete is a simple man who enjoys a good drink amongst good friends. Not too much to ask, right? Now, he's trapped in a fantasy world far from home, stuck underground and inside the body of a smelly dwarf with fantastic facial hair. The worst part? The swill that the dwarves are falling all over themselves to drink. It's flat, it's watery, and it has the alcohol content of a rancid coconut. Can Pete save the dwarves from their own sour fate, or will he be forever doomed to plink his pickaxe away in hopes that he hits the motherlode?

Story
Ashlock wakes in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree. A tree that eats people. An odd start to a new life. Almost as strange as the humans flying through the skies on flaming swords and challenging the heavens. After all, this is a world where humans could chase the goal of immortality through the art of cultivation. But Ashlock is merely a sapling in a desolate courtyard, left alone with his thoughts and unable to speak to those passing him by. Unless he does something about it.

Luckily, Kers has the sarcastic (and sometimes helpful) fairy Selena to help him get his bearings. Together, the pair delight in exploring Kers’ weird existence, creating novel mobs, and enticing adventures to plumb the lofty heights of his floors.

Story
After the death of his beloved mother, Swain is left at the mercy of his drunken father. His only respite from all the beatings and abuse lies in the words he scribbles down, seeking beauty in an ugly world through poetry. He has no friends until one day he meets a girl near his mother's grave. A restless spirit who calls herself Goose, over the years she encourages Swain's creativity, eventually helping him tap into a magical ability he never knew he possessed: a dark energy entwined with his despair, fueled by his anger, and controlled by his poetic verse.

All that stands between rowdy long-haul trucker Jill MacLeod (aka Junkmouth) and her family back in Boston is two thousand miles of asphalt. Well, that and the monstrous game the System has had her playing ever since it descended on Earth. The reward: mana. Jill's goal: kill, score, drive—and stay alive. Behind the wheel of a turreted forty-ton semi named Bertha, Jill hammers east from Montana through a gauntlet of every kind of chomping, hissing, rabid creature imaginable. Story
When Alice Verianna went to sleep, she was just another teen from the Denver suburbs. She definitely didn't expect to be transported to a magical alternate dimension, inhabited by monsters and presided over by a mysterious System. Here, people resemble RPG characters and everyone has access to their own status screens. Grappling with the mechanics of the elusive System isn't the only challenge Alice faces. It seems an underground organization known as the Society of Starry Eyes has taken a particular interest in other dimensions.

Story
For more than 150 years I've served the Kingdom of Sena. Through four Kings and a Queen. Two wars and a rebellion. I've founded and taught at a magic school. I've fought against beast waves and dungeon breaks. But now? Now, the one close friend I had left has passed. So, I'm done with their politics and their economics. The short and busy lives of humans are more burden than benefit on the weary soul of this half-elf.

Publisher's summary
It's not easy being a house that eats people.
Zaria was just a normal woman, living a simple life—until demons burst through her door and ate her heart. Reborn from tragedy, Zaria rises from the ashes as a Core, but with a twist. A rare mutation has turned her into a Mutant Core, destined to explode unless she forms a bond with a human witch to become a Striga.
Her mutation? Legs.
With the power of a full dungeon compressed into a walking house that is her body, Zaria sets out on a journey to find her Striga and avoid detonation. Along the way, she battles demons, builds her dungeon, and feeds her mimic mobs.
This is not the life she once knew, but it's the one she's determined to make work, no matter who she has to walk through to get there.

Suddenly thrust into a new world where magic, monsters, and character levels are par for the course, Tess will find that simply surviving can be a challenge. Narrator should stick to adult romance
I really tried but narrator just ruins it for me. Narrator, when a character is literally "screaming in agony" why do you whisper? Narrator, when the action scenes start and monsters rage, why do you get so quiet I can't tell whats happening?? Narrator, why do you read the whole book like it's a porno??? The only voices that are clear and understandable are when individual characters speak or when the voice of the system appears. The main narrating voice is way too quiet and no one wants to hear a barely audible voice describing a "scene of chaos and blood" like you're describing last night's intimate encounter. Stop ruining litrpg books like that.

Unique to the genre
I loved this book. I gave it a shot because of the dinosaur dungeon series but this one is even better.

Mostly excellent...mostly.
Solid story overall. Love the Baba Yaga theme dungeon. My only complaints are the excessive use of innuendos and secondary plot that connects to the other series by the author. Author has two series still on book 1 in audiobooks while one them is definitely being mention multiple times in this book. I don't hate the secondary plot for the Core Verse, but atleast finish the audiobooks so we can keep up with the Core Verse plot.

One of my favorit takes on dungeon core yet! Why sit and wait for the he4oes when you can walk up and step on them. Also zekes voice is even better on a mimic.

This is the beginning of a promising series
This is the beginning of a promising series the author needs to expand there a building as a storyteller what other than that it has good potential with great structure it's just keep in mind the threads need to be tighter In some places I'll load over the place and the fights can be just a little too worthy at Times but it shows such great promise and it's an interesting story I just wish that if they're going to use this sort of folklore that they had set in a Yugoslavian country

One of the better Dungeon tales
first the one complaint was the audio is a bit on the low side. The story is great proceeding at a steady if slightly OP pace. Stroy is predominantly female characters breathing fresh air into a genre dominanted by male characters.

Good book, Big Universe
A good story on its own, until it started getting tangled with the overarching Core Verse plot. I enjoyed the other series, but piecing the three together is difficult. Most of the resolution involving the common thread character made little sense. Granted, I have only listened to the first Factory of the Gods installment (as that’s the only one on Audible), but even with the three Dinosaur Dungeon installments under my belt this one was out there at the end. Maybe there’s an issue with the studios, but releasing the titles in “core universe chronological order” could help.

Alex Raizman hitting it out of the park as usual
Alex and the Coreverse are quickly becoming the leading power in the LitRPG genre, and they've already blown all other dungeon core stories out of the water. Sierra Kline isn't the most gifted narrator, but she does grow on you quickly, and brings a unique air to the System notifications. Highly recommended for all fans of the genre!

Great Premise, Mediocre Execution
I genuinely love the premise of this book. A walking Baba-Yaga mimic dungeon? That's incredibly original with a lot of potential.
In execution, the first half the book is really good, but then goes downhill for me. The dungeon gets a lot of abilities very quickly and we're not given any time to really digest them. Also, the author moves into a multi-verse premise way to quickly for my liking. We barely get any time to learn more about the world before more are being introduced.
I would really have liked the author to take the series a lot slower and allow things to develop. Instead, I feel like I've got reader's whiplash from how quick things progressed.
As for the voice acting, I don't understand why the narrator felt it necessary to whisper all of her lines. It's like she's trying not to wake up someone in the next room.
