Mainly just dates and statistics

I guess it’s fine if you know nothing about WWII and literally just want a quick summary. But that summary does come with shallow, Chinese-Communist-Party-friendly jabs at, for example, the Americans whose “actions were driven by the desire to protect their investments,” or of course at China’s nationalist government that “only wanted to wipe out the Chinese communists and didn’t want to resist Japanese aggression.”
