Publisher's summary

Children will laugh at these funny adventure stories from Bill Myers, bestselling author of McGee and Me, all while learning Christian character and godly wisdom.

This hilarious audiobook collection for 7- to 10-year-olds includes novels #5, #6, #7, and #8 in The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle fiction series:

  • My Life as Dinosaur Dental Floss follows Wally as he tells just a little lie and is then chased by bungling terrorists, a SWAT team, reporters, and the National Guard until the madcap misunderstandings finally end. . . and Wally learns that honesty really is the best policy.
  • My Life as a Torpedo Test Target goes underwater as Wally searches for a million dollars of gold and struggles with sea monsters, hostile pirates, a ghost ship, and, of course, the world-famous McDoogle klutziness. Just as our hero goes for the gold, he finds himself on a wild ride atop a misguided torpedo and realizes the true cost of greed.
  • My Life as a Human Hockey Puck takes Wally onto the ice as he ends up playing hockey goalie against the monstrous Mad Dog Miller while being trapped in a chicken suit. Before his misadventures end, Wally learns the real dangers of jealousy and envy, and the true value of aspirin.
  • My Life as an Afterthought Astronaut takes Wally out of this world as our boy blunder stows aboard the space shuttle, knocks an astronaut halfway to Jupiter, nearly causes the shuttle to crash, and learns the importance of obeying the rules!

Your kids will have a blast listening to Wally’s adventures as they discover the importance of living with the love and wisdom of Christ.

Engaging, funny, thought-provoking!

My 8 year-old daughter LOVES this series! It tells wildly funny tales with wholesome characters whose adventures highlight the real-life moral and emotional struggles kids (and adults) face. The stories are very well written and engage the listener throughout the book leaving us wanting books 9+ to be released in audio.
