Performance A+
Before I forget her name, let me say that Melissa Moran's performance of this book out the story over the line into 5 star territory!! She honestly brought "Penny" to life for me.
As always, Mr Ibsen delivers a very entertaining tale of the supernatural-but his characters behaved, in my opinion, more like real people. "Don't think I believe in this stuff, but I see what's chasin' me and I think I'll run, just in case! "

Great read but....
The story was dynamite! The tale was well thought out and the ending had a great and wholesome twist, however, the glossing over of the emotional abusive relationship was a bit hard to listen to. If any one out there is in this type of relationship know that there are organizations that can help.

Pretty Good Listen
I enjoyed this book. The narration was great and I think length was good for the story. There was a period where it slowed down a bit much, but there were some genuinely creepy moments as well. Overall I found it satisfying.

Penny's character
Penny grew in character as the story evolved. As she evolved Penny still had fears, they were not cast aside. You could tell Jared had slight character development as well.
This book is entertaining, spooky, and a great listen. In chapter two it goes over the history of Elle pulmonary. not once was I confused about what was happening. I highly recommend.
