Omg where has this author been all my life?! I saw the cover and the Puerto Rican flag in the back and thought oh ok finally a story about Latinos ! Then when I realized the main character was Afro Latina I was hooked . I felt so seen ! Cute story and the acknowledgments inspired me to keep going with my podcast . I’m buying all her books .

Everything I needed
This.,.. This... is what i call a marvelous read. It gave me laughs, on edge, tears, joy and PASSION!! This story was amazingly written and amazingly told. It gave me a spark within myself as i read it and a nice spark to my RL relationship. I could listen to this time an time again.

I love this author
Mia Sosa has a way of weaving a tale into something powerful. There’s always a hidden lesson. She touches on “real” obstacles that characters need to jump over. I loved this book.

Vulnerability of the characters was so real!!
I really enjoyed listening to this book. What the author set out to do was done. I loved and hated some of the characters as if I knew them. And felt like I was Vanessa as the story progressed. I laughed so much. It was a well thought out story and I enjoyed it!!

LIKE OMG
Best Audible in a little while!!! I was into the story from the beginning!!! sure it's the typical romcom template but the characters, the will they won't they dynamics and finally the very 🔥 switch in the story held me with excitement to return to the story! I was late to work because I stayed in the car longer than I should have listening to this book.

beautiful love story
I loved the concept of the story. The voice actors were great for the characters. As for Vanessa's voice actor, I wish she added a little more umf into her peurtorican accent it would have gave the audience a more visual of what Vanessa would have been in our minds. Overall a beautiful love story.
