Story
Few know the warship’s actual name. But everyone has heard the rumors. The PUV James Keeling can do something no other vessel in existence can do—slip into another dimension, travel undetected, then re-emerge onto our plane and surprise enemy targets. But the thing that makes the Crypt unique also makes it a nightmare for those onboard; interdimensional travel causes hallucinations, violent behavior, and psychotic breakdowns. Keeling could be the Union’s greatest weapon, a game-changing asset that can defeat the bloodthirsty zealots of the Purist Nation, the Union’s mortal enemy.

Story
In 2108, Colony Ship Voyager departed Earth for the planet of Promissa with 18,000 of the world’s best and brightest on board. 250 years and 27 light years later, an arrival is imminent. But all is not well. The probes that they’ve sent ahead to gather the data needed to establish any kind of settlement aren’t responding, and the information they have received has presented more questions than answers. It’s a time when the entire crew should be coming together to solve the problem, but science officer Sheila Jackson can’t get people to listen.

Story
We were outnumbered, outfought. Mankind was about to fall to the alien Flock. Our only chance was a desperate gamble, transforming Tier One SpecOps agents into deadly super soldiers. In the end, we won the war, but we lost the peace. The Flock surrendered and spent the next two hundred years making reparations, indentured to humanity, doing everything humans did not want to do. And the evolved super soldiers were consigned to an endless sleep. Ready if ever needed, but in time they became myths. Abandoned and forgotten.

My name is Kazimir Wolfe. People call me "Kaz", except they don’t. I never use my real name; it’s too dangerous, for me and for anyone I meet. I’m on the run from the law, who think I killed my aunt, and from whoever did kill her, because they want to finish the job. So, I move around a lot, working construction or whatever job I can find. It’s a lonely life. I don’t let anyone get close...people who get close to me end up dead. Why? I’m a wizard. The world’s only wizard, as far as I know.

Story
For dinosaurs, it was a big rock. For humans: Coronal Mass Ejection (CME). When the Earth is hit by the greatest CME in recorded history (several times larger than the Carrington Event of 1859), the combined societies of the planet's most developed nations struggle to adapt to a life thrust back into the Dark Ages. In the United States, the military scrambles to speed the nation's recovery on multiple fronts including putting down riots, establishing relief camps, delivering medical aid, and bringing communication and travel back on line. Just as a real foothold is established in retaking the skies (utilizing existing commercial aircraft supplemented by military resources and ground control systems), a mysterious virus takes hold of the population, spreading globally over the very flight routes that the survivors fought so hard to rebuild.

In the spring of 1903, locomotive 311, known as the Majestic, carried more than one hundred passengers toward a tunnel through the underbelly of the Canadian Rockies. But then the mouth of the tunnel swallowed the 311 whole, and the train—and everyone on it—was never seen again. Seven years later, a gang of cattle thieves and cutthroats wait on horseback for a train car full of railway cash—a payroll they intend to steal. What they will discover, however, is that the approaching train isn’t the 5409. It’s the missing 311, a train only whispered about around dying campfires.

Story
In the spring of 1903, locomotive 311, known as the Majestic, carried more than one hundred passengers toward a tunnel through the underbelly of the Canadian Rockies. But then the mouth of the tunnel swallowed the 311 whole, and the train—and everyone on it—was never seen again. Seven years later, a gang of cattle thieves and cutthroats wait on horseback for a train car full of railway cash—a payroll they intend to steal. What they will discover, however, is that the approaching train isn’t the 5409. It’s the missing 311, a train only whispered about around dying campfires.

Story
When Van Tudor returns to his childhood home, he inherits more than the family farm. His grandfather used to tell him fantastic stories of spacemen and monsters, princesses and galactic knights. Little did Van realize, the old man's tales were more than fiction; they were real. Hidden beneath the old barn, Van’s legacy is waiting: a starship, not of this world. With his combat AI, an android bird named Perry, Van takes his first steps into the wider galaxy. He soon finds that space is far busier and more dangerous than he could have ever conceived.

Yup, it’s a good one!
Loved the first book, and this one doesn’t disappoint. A great perspective on alien invasion, and on the backwardness of society. Very good, very well written and -as always - RC Bray kills the performance. No editing whoopsies, and I love that.

Refreshing!
What a great story! Very original & refreshing. Finally, something other than a straight-up military sc-fi opera. I'll be waiting for the final installment & keeping an eye on Richard Fox in the future. Great job!!

Good but not great.
the first book was a great one, opened the whole concept of the xenocide and humans being the villains, well plotted and good characters. this one has good plot and good characters but nothing really happens, it's all set up, could have been 30 mins to an hour longer so we had and interesting ending to keep some excitement for the 3rd book but it doesn't its borderline boring and the last hour was boring, not the best way to end a book. I love Fox's books so I hope the next one kicks it up and utilizes the set up.

This series hits on several different levels
Richard Fox took awhile coming out with book 2 but the wait was worth it. The story is mostly drama but also has some 3rd tier characters providing subtle comic relief and a number of situations where parody seems the most appropriate.
R.C. Bray, you continue doing you.
Anxiously awaiting book 3.

Intense
This is not your "relaxing night-time book". It's a balls to the wall hell drive though rings of fire and grief. Almost from the start I began having stress sweats as I listened to RC Bray describe one terrible and hopeless scenario after another.
All that to say. Highly recommended. Just be prepared.

So good my balls jiggled
Another great book by Richard Fox. If Avatar had an illegitimate live child with Aliens it’d be this.
Richard takes great pride in developing a rich universe of Good, Evil, and everything in between.
The motivations of the Tyr and their separate factions, their human enablers, and the evil corporation with its drug addicted scummies is well laid out and compelling.
Great book… you know what the have to do early on, but can they?
Another compelling story. Written by Rich and performed by R.C. Bray.
Looking forward to the final installment of the series.

Entertaining
Great elements of anthropology, xenobiology, and dystopian corporate lifestyle. And of course, the greatest narrator of action-based genres. The names can get a little confusing, but go back a min or two and the characters are easily discernible.
