Publisher's summary

Charli Boyd is "good time Charli" to her friends and even her enemies. She wants nothing to do with committed relationships. She isn't interested in marriage or babies or settling down in one place for more than a night or two. A brief stay on her friend's ranch, the Double B, leads to a temporary job helping in the grouchy Dr. Clark's veterinarian office. Not her usual role, but the idea of playing nurse to the cute but grouchy doctor is too much fun to resist. Besides, Doc needs to lighten up, and she's just the gal to show him how.

Small-town vet Dr. Grant Clark has no time for such nonsense. He has a business to run and horses to tend, and hopefully at some point in the future he'll meet a nice woman he can raise a family with. The wild redheaded Charli is nothing but trouble. The last person he needs in his life right now is someone like her. But when she sets her sights on seducing him, how long will he be able to resist her tempting offer of a walk on the wild side?

Charli and Grant bring the slow burning Texas heat

Are you in the mood for a real good slow burn romance? Do you like heroines who enjoy life and lust to the fullest? Do you adore sexy, brooding heroes who don’t give up?
This story is for you.
This was my first trip to the world of the Double B and the Circle S ranches and I can’t wait to read or listen to more stories.
The blurb tells us Charli is a commitmentphobe (interesting to see the author put a female in this role) but always up for a good time. She’s tasked by her friends with showing stuffy vet Grant how to have fun and take chances. But he-finally-turns the tables on her and in the end it’s Charli taking the biggest chance of all.
It was a wild dance for both of them and I enjoyed being along for the ride.
The author knows how to tell a tale and I stayed up till the wee hours to find out how it all turned out. Highly recommended.
