All Nathan Grant wanted was solitude. After being baptized in the blood rite of combat and spending more than a decade knee deep in gore, two events that cost him his marriage, Nathan Grant wanted to be as far away from civilization as he could be. Then the world ended. Faced with the harsh reality of a world now populated with psychotic cannibals, Grant did what he does best – stay at his remote cabin and drink a few beers while watching the world melt down. His way of thinking was let it happen as long as it happened far away from him. However, fate had different plans. Dropped into ...

In July of 2016 a plague swept the world, and the civilization collapsed and fell. For a lone National Guard sergeant, a veteran of the wars overseas who had settled down to a new life, the nightmare began on a hot summer evening at the barricades. Orders and chaos, gunfire and being overrun, his unit dwindles away in the face of the infected. Millions are gone, and I’m doing everything I can to keep my family from becoming a part of the rising death toll. Very good story and it will definitely draw you in
This is a very surprisingly good story and it will definitely draw you into it quickly. The writer does so much right to keep your attention with how well the characters are and how the story unfolds. Excellent work from a very creative perspective on this subject and Will definitely be on the lookout for the rest of this series. Only drawback really is the virtual voice has a negative impact on this great story. It's very flat and emotionally as dead as the zombies but even this and how the writer gets a little description overboard at times does NOT slow the pace of this story. will be following this author and looking for more of their work. RECOMMENDED FOR ZOMBIE FANS!!!

The AI narration was flat and simple words mispronounced repeatedly.. story wasn't bad for the genre. I'm out of things to say but the app wants a longer review.
