In this episode we discover how Matthew Bockholt's mind's eye works using the Discovering Your Mind Protocol. Matthew is the most hyperphantasia person that I have interviewed so far. His descriptions and insights are intriguing for sure. He is also an author and he discusses the very real relationships that he has with his characters. He describes his imagination as a separate universe that is just as realistic in every way as this one is... but even better because he can do whatever he wants there.

In this episode we discover how Michelle Jefferies' mind's eye works using the Discovering Your Mind Protocol. We start out identifying Michelle as aphantasia but as we move along its definitely more along the lines of hypophantasia. It's interesting that Michelle developed this low visualization, at least in part, later in life, because of childhood trauma. Michelle has the other senses much stronger than most people with hypophantasia, probably because only the visual aspect was affected by the trauma. Michelle is an author and it's really cool to hear her describe how her characters have minds of their own.

In this episode we discover how Alexander Vercoutre's mind's eye works using the Discovering Your Mind Protocol. Join us as we try to determine exactly what is happening in Alex's mind. Does he have aphantasia or not? I'm not 100% sure but I am 100% sure that this is indeed a fascinating interview. The language and words we have are not adequate here but I do find it interesting that Alex tends to use the words "feel" and "feeling" a lot. I wish I could experience his mind for a day to see what he means by that. Enjoy!

In this episode we discover how Carl Demille's mind's eye works using the Discovering Your Mind Protocol. Carl is an interesting case as his visualization seems to be a bit difficult to predict. He starts out with some very detailed descriptions and we begin to label him hyperphantasia... but then later on, his descriptions about what he visualizes when he reads is much more basic and vague with little detail. So.... what to make of it? I don't know. Regardless, it's a great interview and further solidifies the fact that everyone is unique!
