Great book on the dullest of fishes!
This is a great history of the natural world and of globalism, capitalism, slavery, war, discovery and much else. Also a few good fish recipes!

A really interesting book
A great book that I found to be a fantastic and generally sobering documentation of the world wide fish trade and more specifically the pivot cod fish that significantly revolutionized the market. I highly recommend this book.

waste of space and time
this book could not be more boring. I actually found it to be quite an effective sleep aid. That's not really what I was looking for. I was looking for an interesting piece of history. But sadly this book is not interesting in the least bit. I recommend to anyone who's looking for something interesting to avoid this book at all costs.
