His laughs
I hate to say it bc I love him so much but it was a little monotone - his laughs in and out were the best and his overall message is fabulous and I will always love him!!!! I dressed my Ken Dolls up as him and my Barbie’s as Cindy Lauper and in my mind they got married… and I went to school for fashion design bc of him!

enough about Jon
I love Boy George. I have been a fan since I was a teen; I'm 52 now. I am very familiar with George's obsession with Jon. I wish this were not so prominent as it was; I wanted to know about taboos and maybe TV appearances. More about his family and if you truly understand what his addiction was doing to him. I wanted some more about other loves and things like that, and I wanted to know what he went through while making albums at the height of his heroin use. Why didn't he start a makeup line, and why does he now wear hats and jackets? He has fans who would buy them. It's a good book, and I did enjoy it, but it wanted to be past a majority of the Jon stuff that it took off for me.

Beautiful Enlightenment
Two truly wonderful songs, a love offering from George to the listener. Honest and Hilarious stories of a past some will remember but few will truly honor until after listening to George’s healing journey. George reminds the listener of the impermanence of fame couture and how one cant take themselves to serious.

A Must Listen for Boy George Fans
I've been a huge Boy George fan for 40 years now. I was one of those screaming teens that dressed up like him and was obsessed, but now a mature adult that appreciates him for what he is. I think he is hysterical and this book had me laughing out loud at times. I loved all his stories about him meeting celebrities, some of which were also my favorites and didn't pay him much attention. I met BG backstage in the 90s. I asked him to sign my new T-shirt that I purchased at the concert. It was black, so the only place he could sign was on his white face on the front. It was an awkward moment, but he got through it. Ha ha. He said nothing as he walked away to attend to other fans and I said, "I love you Boy George", like it was the only chance I had. He did look back to see who said it and moved on. I wonder what he was thinking. I'm laughing inside as I write this. Jon Moss wasn't there; now I know why. Roy and Mikey came with me and my friend to a club in Pittsburgh. They were nice and seemingly normal guys. Thank you BG for letting us into your world. I still love your music after all these years and come to all your shows in South Florida. Look me up the next time you are in the area. My wife and I are huge foodies. We will take you some place nice. Ha Ha. Laura Aveard-Duarte
