Publisher's summary

Get books one through three in this best-selling Christian historical romance series! With a combined total of over 750 reviews, get three full-length novels at a substantial discount over their individual prices.

Freedom in the Mountain Wind (Book 1)

Susanna Wilkins will do anything to make her father’s final dream come true, including trekking along the path Lewis and Clark explored into the untamed wilds of the Rocky Mountains. Every mile is more crucial now that lung cancer is stealing Pa’s last days faster than she can come to terms with losing him. The journey becomes harder than she ever expected, but paddling upriver through fierce rapids and fighting hungry grizzlies isn’t what terrifies her the most.

Hope in the Mountain River (Book 2)

Joel Vargas can’t believe he’s lost his older brother in the wilds of the Rocky Mountains after surviving their harrowing voyage across the Atlantic. And he can’t shake the feeling that Adam - his only living relative - is in dire trouble. No matter what the cost, he and his band of friends won’t stop until Adam is found. He’s not sure if two Indian women they meet on the way will be a help or hindrance.

Light in the Mountain Sky (Book 3)

Determined to prove her worth, Meksem fiercely fought to earn her place among the warriors in her Nez Perce camp. When her half-sister is captured by an enemy tribe, she refuses to trust the rescue to anyone else. But her new friends insist on joining her mission, and she battles between relief and frustration at their presence. Especially the White man who peers at her as if he can see through the face of the warrior she struggles so hard to maintain.

These three books in one is well worth time an money. The author is a very talented writer of wonderful Christian stories. The narrator brings the tales to life with the most soothing voice. My new favorite author and narrator!!!

Great character building

Great character development and story development. Each book fit seamlessly with the next. The word description of the cold made me feel that cold. Good books.

Great story, Great narrator!

The stories were uplifting and inspiring. This narrator was amazing. she not only portrayed both male and female voices well but also did very well mimicking different accents.

Beautifully Narrated

Lovely story but the narration really makes it amazing. The narrator used great accents for the different characters helping the story to come alive. The writing is so well that you can see the mountains, trees, boulders, etc.

Amateur writing

The stories are decent, and I got my money’s worth out of the 3-book set for 1 credit. However, at times I was rolling my eyes at the writing. The writer uses the same descriptions over and over: stomachs roil, bile rises, feelings knot and pull tight. Then in each book the male and female lead characters (one white, one Indian) basically experience an instant attraction/love connection and spend the rest of the book having deep conversations with every glance. Listen, I’ve been married 20 years and my husband still doesn’t understand a word I say, out loud and in his own language, much less with my eyes. I hate to be overly critical, but I really found it kind of cheesy.

Warning: Brutal stories with horrible injuries!

I like these stories of historical fiction. I love this narrator with a soothing voice and good at doing different accents. The stories of faith are inspiring. BUT, these stories are just physically brutal. The characters are absolutely tortured and it is described how much they suffer agonizing pain and horrific injuries. Bear attacks. Getting shot in the stomach. Terrible lung disease where the guy can hardly breathe, animal attacks, etc. It goes on throughout the whole book, listening to them suffering and the emotional and mental pain their loved ones suffer caring for them and worrying about them. Why do these stories have to be so brutal?
