Interesante pero lento

Recién en el capítulo 20 (de 27 capítulos totales) se desvela el meollo de la trama, el cual, al menos para mi, era obvio desde los primeros capítulos.
Se tarda mucho el llegar a descubrir ese "algo" sorprendente que la historia te promete desde el inicio, pero no es tan sorprendente, pero que al menos a mí no me lo pareció tanto, porque me lo veía venir desde el inicio. Mi problema no es que haya sido obvio, si no, que se tarda más de 15 capítulos en llegar a eso, teniendo el libro 27 capítulos.
Eso sí, a partir del capítulo 20 me pareció más emocionante el libro, y pasan más cosas en menos tiempo. Además, el final de algunos capítulos (2), sí me dejaron intrigada en cómo seguía el siguiente. Pero la verdad en la gran mayoría de finales de capítulo no sentía el impulso de saber qué pasaba en el siguiente, no sentí ese enganche entre capítulos.
Leí en una reseña que la historia daba para una precuela y una secuela. Estoy de acuerdo, ya que quedan varias interrogantes de temas anteriores y posteriores a los que trata este libro.
Mi "problema" fue más con el ritmo de cómo se contó la historia, porque la historia y la premisa que se expone sí es interesante.
