Publisher's summary
- I. Le chaos changé en quatre éléments distincts. II. Succession des quatre âges du monde. III. Crime et punition des géants. IV. L'univers est submergé par le déluge. V. Deucalion et Pyrrha repeuplent la terre. VI. Apollon tue le serpent Python. VII. Métamorphose de Daphné en laurier. VIII. Métamorphose d'Io en génisse, et de Syrinx en roseau ; mort d'Argus ; naissance d'Épaphus ;
- I. Phaéton demande pour un jour la conduite du char du Soleil ; il est frappé de la foudre et précipité du ciel. II. Cycnus changé en cygne. III. Calisto changée en ourse. IV. Le corbeau, de blanc qu'il était, devient noir. V. Ocyroë transformée en cavale. VI. Battus métamorphosé en pierre. VII. Aglaure changée en rocher. VIII. Jupiter, sous la forme d'un taureau, enlève Europe ;
- I. Agénor ordonne à Cadmus de chercher sa fille qu'il a perdue. Des soldats naissent des dents du dragon tué par Cadmus. II. Actéon métamorphosé en cerf. III. Naissance de Bacchus. IV. Tirésias aveugle et devin. V. Écho changée en son ; Narcisse en fleur. VI. Penthée, après la métamorphose des matelots en dauphins, charge Acétès de chaînes ; à cause de ce crime, il est mis en lambeaux par les bacchantes ;
- I. Alcithoé et ses sœurs s'obstinent à mépriser le culte de Bacchus ; Pyrame et Thisbé. Amours de Mars et de Vénus, d'Apollon et de Leucothoé, de Salmacis et d'Hermaphrodite. Les filles de Minée changées en chauves-souris, et leurs toiles en vignes et en pampres. II. Ino et Mélicerte métamorphosés en dieux marins, et leurs compagnons en rochers et en oiseaux. III. Métamorphoses de Cadmus et d'Hermione en serpents. IV. d'Atlas en montagne. V. Persée délivre Andromède. VI. Il l'épouse ;

Story
It’s the summer of ’77 in New York City, and the only thing more unnerving than the scorching heatwave is the rampant murder, leaving washed-up homicide detective Richard Dietrich on edge. When Dietrich investigates a brutal mob hit the brass doesn’t want him to solve, he goes from phoning it in to getting in over his head. Caught up in a mysterious second homicide with an even more perplexing perpetrator, Dietrich starts to second guess his instincts—and his memory—as he searches for answers at the bottom of a bottle.

Story
The 13 chapters of The Art of War, each devoted to one aspect of warfare, were compiled by the high-ranking Chinese military general, strategist, and philosopher Sun-Tzu. In spite of its battlefield specificity, The Art of War has found new life in the modern age, with leaders in fields as wide and far-reaching as world politics, human psychology, and corporate strategy finding valuable insight in its timeworn words.

Nicole, the middle child, has been kept at arm’s length due to her ongoing battle with a serious drug addiction. Story
This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... We hope your new audio bible will go everywhere with you and be a blessing for years to come.
